Early Christmas surprise for coach Mike yesterday. He was selected by Driveline Baseball as the one of the 10 coaches to receive a 2021 ABCA convention scholarship. The National Coaches Convention takes place in early January and is an amazing opportunity to learn from top college and pro baseball coaches. During our classroom session on Sunday the boys were given a goal setting assignment. Each player was asked to set 3 Destination Goals, complete with photos, descriptions, and completion dates. They also answered a couple of questions to help reveal the emotions they would feel living their dream life. These goals will served them well on days when motivation is low or distractions are high. ... May the only thing that rivals the size of their goals be a work ethic that will take them there. #dreamBIG #workHARD #sqaud21

Fall Ball Season - Covid-19 Announcement Tuesday October 6th, 2020 At tonight's meeting of the EOBA executive ... and in light of the ongoing and evolving Covid...-19 situation, those present voted to bring the 2020 Fall Ball season to an immediate conclusion. This is not a decision that was taken lightly and it was arrived at after much discussion. As a result, the EOBA will from this point forward not be sanctioning competition of any kind (games, scrimmages, etc ...) between different centres. In other words, no games with teams outside you're own association. Failure to follow this edict after October 6th, 2020 will result in an immediate and indefinite suspension of all coaches involved by the EOBA. With regards to practices, team tryouts and team workouts, the EOBA executive, after another vote, has decided to leave those particular decisions up to the discretion of the individual centres and their respective health authorities. The 2020 season has been admittedly a challenging one for our players, coaches, and volunteers and I, along with the EOBA executive, would like to thank all of those within our larger Baseball family for overcoming the adverse circumstances to provide many with a worthwhile Baseball experience over the past few months, all the while successfully navigating the various challenges along the way. Our Fall Ball season ended last night with a disappointing 19-7 loss to Vaughan. We will keep that game top of mind to further fuel our fire this offseason. It’s time to get after it and get better!!
