Take a moment to think about the people whose physicality you admirereal people not just the genetic jackpot winners. . . . Is it their strength? Their abi...lity to grit through a tough challenge? Their discipline to stick with a goal? Their active lifestyle? The aesthetic that their training sculpted? Their can-do attitude that spills into everyday life? Whatever quality you admire, consider that every person started from somewhere. . . . The first step: recognizing a gap between where they were and where they wanted to be or how they wanted to live. Next: identifying what they needed to do or to change to get there. Third: deciding to do it. The fourth: taking the required action (knowing what to do and actually doing it aren’t the same). Unfortunately, many don’t get past the first steprecognizing a gap but stuck on how or where to start. . . . There’s good news. Like a house needing a solid foundation, bridging the fitness gap starts with the same thing. A foundation of high-yielding, fundamental movement skills on which every other physical quality can be built. . . . Enter the new StrongFirst Foundations Workshop. We specifically created this new half-day course to deliver a first-hand experience of our foundational strength principles in action, regardless of the resistance tool(s) you prefer or may gravitate towardskettlebells, barbells, and/or bodyweight. We have four dates currently scheduled: Vicenza, Italy February 1San Diego, CAMarch 7 Stuttgart, GermanyMarch 14 Pittsburgh, PAMay 16 . . . Head to our website to register. This half-day could change your perception of what is possible forever. https://www.strongfirst.com//strongfirst-foundations-work/ #2020goals #StrongFirst #2020 #newgoals #newskills #kettlebell #bodyweight #barbell #strength #newworkshop #vicenza #forza #sandiegofitness #pittsburghfitness #stuttgartgermany

This is why everyone should exercise..not to flex in the mirror, rather to grow older gracefully, maintain mobility and an independent lifestyle.
Sitting all day is one of the most common causes of hip pain.
I was nominated by Eric Poe Tas to do 22 push ups for 22 days to help raise awareness for veterans and first responders. It is estimated that 22 vets take their own lives daily due to OSI, notably PTSD. While push ups alone won't stop this from happening This challenge is a small way to help raise awareness for a very real and heartbreaking problem. My nomination for the day.... Pauline Schmidt !!! A worthy nominee. The rules are simple:... 1. Once you are nominated your 22 days start the following day. 2. Record yourself doing 22 push ups, or your best effort working your way up to the 22. They can be assisted from your knees or take a break then continue,,,, but all in one video. 3. Every day you nominate a different person. Try to nominate people you think will want to do this challenge and is able to participate. 4. Finally and most importantly ,,, have fun with this challenge! This is a simple way to get the word out about a matter more people need to be aware of. These brave men and women put their lives on the line to protect others and witness some haunting incidents. It is sad to know many think suicide is the only way to escape the images. See more
Something to remember... exercise is what your body ultimately craves.
It's HOT out. Remember, 70% of your muscle tissue and blood is made of water. A loss of 5% or more of body weight from sweating could be fatal.
