Bazar Ensemble l'Hiver, an annual event organized by Maison des Familles de Saint-Laurent, helps nearly 150 families in difficult situations to dress warmly for winter. This year, the event will be held on Saturday, November 14th, for registered families and on Sunday, November 15th, for the general public. The event will take place at Centre des Loisirs de Saint-Laurent (1375 Rue Grenet, Saint-Laurent, QC H4L 5K3) Take advantage of the new season to sort your wardrobe and gi...ve your clothes a second life - they will be sold to families with children under 12 years of age during the Bazar in Ville Saint Laurent. You can help in 2 ways: 1. DONATE MONEY: Hilm will use the money collected to purchase winter clothing and give it to Maison des Families on your behalf. 2. DONATE GENTLY USED WINTER CLOTHING (coats, snow pants, gloves, winter hat, boots for both children and adults) When: Drop off Sunday, November 1st, 1 pm to 3 pm Where? West Island: 72 Brunswick. Dollard des Ormeaux, QC, H9B 2C5 (REAR OF BUILDING GARAGE #4) South Shore: Address of Masjid Al-Falah: 1885 Rue Nielsen, Saint-Hubert, QC J4T 1P1 Drop off times: At any of the prayer times, you can drop off the clothes in the box, located inside the masjid at the main entrance (SOUTH SHORE ONLY). PLEASE NOTE: Drop off IS ONLY available at the above address on November 1st from 1 pm to 3 pm. No winter clothing will be accepted dropped before or after this date. Please ONLY donate gently used and clean winter clothing. Any other type of clothing or items will be refused without exception. Winter clothing must be delivered in bags. We had a wonderful time at our social distanced outdoor Eid prayer hosted at Roxboro United Church. It was a beautiful experience to pray on the lawn of the church. We are blessed to live in such a loving and diverse community.

This Eid might be like no other we have ever experienced before, but it can still be beautiful and uplifting.
