There is no requirement to begin one aspect of pilot training before the other. Durham Flight Centre recommends trying to complete the ground school around the same time as your flight training, however this is not required. The sightseeing/introductory flight can be purchased one of two ways. The flight itself can be booked by calling the school and payment would be required after the flight has returned. If you’d like to receive a gift certificate, it can be purchased in-person or over the phone. The gift certificate has a 1 year expiry date after the date of purchase and can be booked for anytime while the gift certificate is valid. DFC Introduction: Ella Burchartz has been around the aviation industry since she was a baby. Ella is the daughter of Brian, Enterprise Aviation Group's Chief Pilot. You could say that flying is in Ella's blood. She began flying when she was 15 years old and just received her CPL. Currently, you can find Ella as a dispatcher at DFC. She is going to begin her flight instructor rating soon and one day Ella hopes to fly around the world with her Dad and brother in the DC3.

When he was younger one of his fondest memories was when his father would take him to Toronto Pearson International Airport where they would watch planes for hours. Ever since then, Tyler can't picture himself doing anything else besides flying.
