1st Rosetown Scouts

Starting Monday, March 16th, Scouts Canada is halting all programming until, at least, April 5th. We look forward to hopefully getting back to running meetings in April. If the cease of operations lasts longer, we will leave an update on this page. Stay healthy and remember to wash your hands!

Cubs take apart night video and pancake flipping videos.

Missing videos from the Saskatoon trip last week.

During February, the Cubs had an evening of taking apart old electronic devices, learning about the different parts and then getting to smash them when done. Last night, the Cubs learnt a bit about Shrove Tuesday, Ash Wednesday and Lent and why Shrove Tuesday is also know as Pancake Day in the UK, had pancake flipping races and made a miniature stove to cook their own mini pancake on.

After our busy day in Saskatoon, the Beavers and Cubs were able to stay for a sleepover. Youth hung out in the space station, built their own cars for their 'drive-in' movie with pizza, learnt about Epi-Pens, made snow blindness goggles and experienced a few of our homemade fire starters in action.
