Elsa was featured in an article of the Medicine Hat News this morning and also just finished a tv shoot with CHAT TV Medicine Hat. She is enjoying her new found celebrity but it is tiring work. She is taking a little break from her toils for now.

Elsa Update: Elsa had her visit with the veterinarian this morning. It is estimated that she is 5-6 weeks old. She is believed to have worms and was treated for this. She also has a touch of conjunctivitis and will require eye drops three times daily to correct this condition. Otherwise, we are told that she is in good health, particularly due to the circumstances that she was found. Back at our office now and happy to be home. Thank you so much to the staff Animal Medical Centre South for getting to her so quickly and for the extra toys and goodies to help her adjust to her new life. She will be back to see you in two weeks for her follow up and inoculations.

Our newest teammate has settled very nicely into her new home. She has been named Elsa (because she was Frozen when we found her and apparently our crew is full of Disney fans). Her next adventure will be to visit the veterinarian for a check up.

UPDATE! After speaking with a local resident in the area we learned that this little kitten is in fact an abandoned stray and has no home. Therefore, after a quick managers meeting it has been decided that she will be hired on by Sanatec as our new Assistant Rodent Control Officer, pending a medical clearance for active duty. As you can see she is very excited about her new opportunity as are we.
