COVID 19 UPDATE Due to the rapidly rising Covid-19 case numbers in our area we have made the difficult decision to return to locked down operations. Effective Wednesday November 25, our doors will be locked. WE REMAIN OPEN 24 HOURS TO SEE YOUR PETS, but will be reverting to curbside service in order to keep our staff and clients safe. This means clients will not be permitted in the building- we will come to the front door to pick up your pet for their exam. PLEASE CALL US AT... 902 225-7543 WHEN YOU ARRIVE IN OUR PARKING LOT FOR YOUR PET’S EXAM. You will be kept up to date on the appointment progress by phone. Exceptions will be made for end of life procedures following all Covid guidelines. We will advise you of the procedure should you need this service. Prescription refills and food orders can be picked up at our front door. Please call us when you arrive in our parking lot to pick up food or prescriptions. Dr. Anna is moving! Dr. Anna Swick Coryell will be transferring to our sister hospital, Halifax Veterinary Hospital, at the end of November. We are very sad to see her go but the good news for her clients is she is not going far! Starting in December you can arrange appointments with her at HVH by calling (902)422-8595. Good luck Dr. Anna! We will miss you! Oliver, also pictured below, isn't going anywhere and is still available at our location for cuddles.

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Jessica Volzke to our practice! Dr. Volzke grew up in Ohio and graduated from The Atlantic Veterinary College in 2020. Her interests include wellness, behaviour, and rehabilitation. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys hiking with her springer spaniel, Winnie, travelling, and spending time with her two pet rats, Gilligan and Skipper.

This is Wither! He is a 12 week old Sphynx Elf cat. He is a cross between a Sphynx and an American Curl. We have all fallen in love with him. Such a delightful and gentle little fellow!
