2020 - The year of changes, the year of constant. This has been a year to pull together making masks, caps and isolation gowns, and reaching out to the ones that need us. I am so proud to call all of you my friends. Please take care of yourselves and I look forward to hearing your ideas for new projects. Starting tomorrow July, 21 we’ll be open Tuesday to Friday from 10 am until 4 pm! We have lots of new batiks and flannelettes in stock and Christmas prints are on their way Thread and elastic are in good supply :)

Canada Classic 8 is in store now!! Panel, wide back, labels and beautiful colour choices!! Store is open Tuesdays and Fridays from 12:00 to 4:00.

Tuesday May 19th will start our re-opening, Hours will be Tuesdays and Fridays from 12:00 to 4:00. Curbside orders are preferred for anything that can be prepackaged.... There is a sanitizing station at the front door, and the number of customers in the store at any time will be limited to 3. Stay safe and keep those machines purring!!

With the damp weather I'm hoping all those machines are just humming!!! Curbside pickup is from 1:00 to 1:30 tomorrow afternoon. Elastic and nose wires are still in good supply. ... Interfacing is now in short supply and the major sewing groups are recommending a layer of fabric for the 3-layer mask. Message me with your orders and I'll see you Friday

We now have two collection bins at the store. 'Masks for Meaford' is still looking for masks to help keep our town safe. Canada Sews - Grey Bruce is the other bin. This group is looking for sewers for gowns for nursing homes. Please let me know and I will pass on your contact info.... Let me know if you need anything for curbside pickup and I'll have it ready for tomorrow.

For anyone that has finished masks to donate, I will be setting up a drop box at the door on Tuesdays and Fridays at 1:00. Please have masks in a plastic bag. Thank you to all the stitchers for keeping Meaford safe.....one mask at a time!!
