Here is a special treat ...
When I see the glory of God on display in creation, I breath in deeply and exhale in worship with the words "Thank you Lord!" The beauty is enchanting and reveals to me in bold colours that since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood from His workmanship, so that men are without excuse" Rom 1.20. For this week, we shall initiate a pause in face to face meetings that includes all the weekly ministries of the church. We hope to be able to have the Sunday message up and posted to our youtube channel by Sunday morning. We also plan to be up on zoom for our Tuesday night bible study. Wednesday prayer meeting options will also be considered and we will let you know. The deacons will meet Monday at 7pm and discuss the way forward.
Heart 2 Heart or Chat 'N Craft? Lots of good ideas here! Save your rolls and make whatever tickles your fancy!
If you've seen the movie "War Room", this is a slightly different take on that concept. Let's be prayer warriors for our families, our friends, our neighbours and anyone else who crosses our path.
As church attendance numbers fade across the nation and online services become very convenient (who doesn't love not getting ready in the morning or leaving the... home?!), it's important to remember why church attendance for you and your family matters so much. You can't serve from your sofa. You can't have community of faith on your sofa. You can't experience the power of a room full of believers worshipping together on your sofa. Christians aren't consumers either. We are contributors. We don't watch. We engage. We give. We sacrifice. We encourage. We do life together. The church needs you. And you need the church. Wherever you are, find a local church where you and your family can be part of community and use your talents to advance the kingdom and reach others. To come alongside one another physically, not just through a screen. While I'm grateful for technology to keep people connected that can't physically come to a facility or need to be away, it's absolutely not like being in the building. Never will be. Yes, church on the sofa is nice. But it'll never be the same as church in the sanctuary.

Starting this #badjoketuesday off with a sweet one :)
Don't forget to "fall back" next Sunday or you will be an hour early for church!
Evening devotions with the Pied Piper!
Please share this event, if you will!
I will speak of my Redeemer - "who is the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge" (Col 2.2,3). C.S. Lewis ...writes ... A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic - on a level with the man who says he is a poached egg - or else He would be the Devil of Hell. You must make your choice. Either this man was, and is, the Son of God: or else a madman or something worse. You can shut Him up for a fool, you can spit at Him and kill Him as a demon, or you can fall at His feet and call Him Lord and God. But let us not come with any patronizing nonsense about His being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us. He did not intend to. See more
Due to COVID-19, we now have 2 services, one at 9 am and one with Jr. Church at 10:30 am on Sundays. Prayer meetings are on Wednesday at 8 pm. We still post our services on youtube for those who aren't comfortable with attending yet.

Pray for our nations...
I'm sure the pastors and board are hearing every one of these as they struggle with the decisions to meet as a church again.
