Today the Government of Canada introduced new measures to further enhance restrictions on international travel. Highlights include: - All flights from Canada to... the Caribbean and Mexico have been suspended from January 31st to April 30th, 2021 -Effective Feb 03, 2021, in addition to proof of a negative pre-departure test, Transport Canada will require all international flights to land in four major airports- Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, and Calgary -All air travellers arriving in Canada, must reserve a room in a Government of Canada-approved hotel for three nights at their own cost in addition to a Covid-19 test. - 72-hour pre-arrival molecular testing requirement for travellers seeking entry in land mode, with limited exceptions. Sudden news for the travel world. As of now, we can still do the rapid test program in Calgary to avoid the 14 day quarantine BUT a negative test will be needed before you board your plane back to Canada! I will be contacting my clients by a departure date basis! I will be in touch as soon as I can. Thank you for your patience. Pre-departure COVID-19 testing and negative results to be required for all air travellers coming to Canada - Canada.ca... With the latest announcements of Canadians needing to be PCR covid tested before being allowed back into the country, there are several different options. Your resort. Some resorts offer testing on site. You would need to verify it is the correct test needed. Canada is specific on that. Costa Med which has 4 locations in the destination. You can make an appointment online https://www.costamed.com.mx/.../schedule-your-appointment Laclicsa which is a lab with multiple locations in destination.
