Good Morning Peeps! Just wanted to say we will be closed for Nov 11, 2020. We will be back in the office for Nov 12 at 8:00 AM.
Shout out to Sam R for buying us treats yesterday! We sure enjoyed them! Thank you Sam.

Wishing everyone a happy thanksgiving! We are thankful for each and everyone of you!
We are wishing everyone a happy and safe long weekend! Enjoy the sunshine
Wishing everyone a safe and happy Canada Day
Due to a last minute appointment that has come up, the office will be closed from 2:45PM to probably 4:00PM. Sorry for any inconvenience.
We are hiring! Hiring for a door installer/service tech position. It is physically demanding job. A fair amount of lifting and working at different heights. Experience is preferred but not necessary. Must have own tools. N or Class 5 drivers license is a must. With the potential to get a heavy haul license. We are on call 24/7, there will be overtime. The occasional weekend and/or evening call. Typically this position is roughly 7am-5pm Monday to Friday, but it is not always. We work until the work is done.
We hope everyone has a good May Long Weekend! Enjoy yourself the best you can. Due to the long weekend, the office will close at 2:00 PM today May 15th. We will open again Tuesday May 19th at 8:00AM.
Due to Covid-19, we have decided to take a break from posting regularly on Facebook. We are still open regular hours and will continue to operate. Office hours are Monday to Thursday 8am - 5pm, and Friday 8am-4pm. If/when any new updates during the pandemic come up, it will be post on our Facebook page. Giving the most up to date information ... We look forward to servicing your home/business during this time. We will see each-other on the other side of this pandemic. Take Care, Be Safe Everyone.
Steel-craft doors are manufactured in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
Fun Friday: Did you know Kamloops gets 2000 hours of sunshine per year.
Tip Tuesday: We use special pins when installing/adjusting the door springs. As they are under a tremendous amount of tension.
Fun Friday: Would you rather know the history of every object you touched or be able to talk to animals?
How strong are steel-craft doors? When Les (co-owner of Ace Overhead Doors) was putting the roof on this shed, he moved to the wrong spot, and fell onto the door. The door was in the open. The high grade Canadian steel means a stronger door. In-case it ever gets damaged in any way. high grade Canadian steel high grade Canadian steel
Fun Friday: Which phone is in your hand? Apple or Android. Here at Ace Overhead Doors, Apple iphones are more popular.
We hope everyone is staying home when they can. But most importantly staying safe. Together we can get through this time.
When it comes to picking a garage door some choices include: color, style, window options. For example: This is a Walnut Ranch-craft with black Stanton inlaid muntin bars.
Fun Friday: Tomorrow is National Pet Day. What do you appreciate the most from your pets/furry babys?
Humor Tuesday: There are five types of openers: Chain and Belt Drive, Jackshaft (Or also known as wall-mount), Chain Hoist and you. "You" being your the one creating the movement for the springs to lift the door.
Fun Friday: With this outbreak of Covid-19 what are some hobby's everyone is doing these days?
What lifts the garage door? The Springs. The opener creates movement while the springs actually lift the door up.
Fun Fridays - What are some of your favourite restaurants? Our staff answers: Mark - "Atlas Steak & Fish" Aaron - "Boston Pizza"
We are doing everything we can to protect everyone within Kamloops and surrounding areas of the Covid-19. We are doing everything we can do to still serve our customers. By practicing social distancing and increased cleaning protocols, we strive to serve our customers as safely and efficiently as possible. Stay safe everyone.
One of our most used tools in the overhead door business is a drill set.
Fun Friday - To bring in the first day of spring, Kamloops has a "inverted treeline." Which means some trees won't grow in our surrounding areas due to the climate. Who Knew?
