We are allowed to remain open, but after consulting with KFL&A Public Health and KGH, we will be adding additional questions to our screening process, in order to keep our clients, our clinic, and our families, as safe as possible. It is a privilege that we are able to continue working, so all that we ask, is that you answer the questions honestly and accurately. With that being said, we respect the decision of each of our clients. If you would rather postpone your appointme...nt until a time that you feel more comfortable, we completely understand. Our screening questions will be as follows: 1) In the last 14 days, have you travelled outside of KFL&A region, or had visitors from outside of KFL&A region? 2) Have you, or anyone in your home, had a positive Covid-19 test, or waiting on the results of a test? 3) Are you experiencing any new or worsening symptoms of: fever, cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, sore throat, headaches, loss of taste or smell If you have had to answer Yes to any of the questions, we ask that you please rebook your appointment. Massage therapy, as most of you would attest to, is now considered essential. We will be able to provide service through the lockdown. Hi everyone! Following the recommendation of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO), we at ActiveHealth have decided to close our doors until further notice. We will continue to monitor the situation and open back up when it is safe again. Hey everyone. We’re running a Christmas fundraiser with Lasalle tomorrow (Tuesday) night at Holy Cross. The idea is that students from our feeder schools that ...applied to Shop With a Cop and were not selected, or students who are in a tough situation financially, are nominated by their schools. They work with staff in their buildings to put together a Christmas wish list for their family members and submit it to Holy Cross and Lasalle Senior Boys basketball players. The kids from our teams go around on Wednesday with money raised from tomorrow nights games and purchase these gifts for the elementary students’ family members. The basketball teams head to the schools on Thursday and drop the gifts off for the students to give to their family members for Christmas. We have gift certificates available, and can get them to you in the safest ways possible. They can be mailed, texted, emailed, picked up in our mailbox, or in some cases, dropped off to yours. We are able to accept Visa and Mastercard over the phone, or e-transfer. Please contact us for more details.

We have been given the green light to reopen. We have our cleaning protocols in place, removed any unnecessary or difficult to disinfect items, added masks, Cov...id 19 screening questions, and anything else that has been directed by our College or the MoH. If you would like an appointment, please let us know and we will begin scheduling. We are leaving extra time between clients, so please be patient as we all navigate our 'new normal." We hope everyone has been able to stay safe, healthy, and sane. Unfortunately, we have not yet received a timetable of when we can reopen, but we have received a COVID-19 Pandemic DRAFT Practice Guidance for Massage Therapists, from the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. We felt it was a great opportunity to reach out to all our wonderful, and dearly missed clients, to give a sense of what the new normal for us, and for you will most likely look like. - When we are... booking your appointment, we must screen you over the phone for risk of COVID-19, by asking you a number of questions set out by the Ontario Ministry of Health - We will ask that everyone wait in the parking lot and we will either text you that we are ready or wave to let you know - The door will be held open for you, and every person entering will be asked to wash their hands with soap and water in the main floor sink - We then must screen everyone again to ensure your COVID-19 status has not changed since your appointment was booked - We will maintain a roster of all people entering the space (including their name and phone number) to assist with contact tracing if required - Disposable masks will be available if you would like to use one - We will wear a surgical/procedure mask (not cloth) during treatment and whenever within two (2) metres of you - We will also ask that you wash your hands with soap and water, again before you leave - We have extended the time we allow between appointments to be able to fully clean and disinfect all touched surfaces We know these changes impact all of us, so please bare with us as we navigate our way through these unprecedented times.
