Send your letter directly to the North Pole! Santa’s mailbox was installed on the Riverfront Trail Gazebo this morning. The Codiac Woodworkers Guild designed and built the box, with a little help from Santa’s elves! Please note that Canada Post is asking for letters to Santa to be dropped in the box by December 10, so they can guarantee a reply back in time.

A huge round of applause for the staff at Advance Savings Credit Union for their donation to Riverview P.R.O. Kids! The staff challenge each other to raise funds throughout the year via dress down days, potlucks and other internal fundraisers. We can't thank them enough for their continued support (over 10 years, wow!) to ensure children in our community have access to sport, cultural and recreation activities! ... Friends of Mill Creek is currently recruiting! FMC is a volunteer advisory committee that assists the Town of Riverview with the planning and management of Mill Creek Nature Park. We are looking for people with relevant skills and experience who are passionate about the park and its development. We are especially interested in candidates with expertise in planning, recreation, environmental management, or outdoor education. The committee meets on the first Thursday of every... other month at 8 a.m., with the possibility of additional meetings as the need arises. One last harvest at Great Place to Grow Community Garden before the storm hits We want to thank all the youth who participated in our Leading From Home program, who spent the summer caring for the plants that would come to bare this fruit . All of the food harvested has been donated to the Albert County food bank and will go a long ways in helping those less fortunate. Thanks again to all the youth who donated their time this summer volunteering in a variety of different ways. Great job everyone!
