So I wouldn't normally post something like this but I thought it was too important not to.... I recently learned this little tidbit of information and thought I... would try it out. For all my status friends.... if you ask the doctor for a prescription for a years worth of condoms they will give you ... male or female ... I got a box of 24 with 11 refills ... covered. I'm sharing this because Indigenous people in Saskatchewan have the highest rates of HIV and are the fastest growing demographic contracting the disease. There are also new strains of HIV where the illness progresses faster. All it takes is a trip to the walk in ... a slightly awkward convo with the doctor and a trip to the pharmacy and you are literally covered for a year. There is no excuse not to be safe!!!! Protect yourselves people and get tested if you do not know your status.

This is very real. The effects can last a life time. It affects self-worth, self-esteem, self-confidence, acceptance of oneself and amongst others. All wonderful ingredients of anxiety. I’m not enough, I’m not good enough, people don’t like me anyway, I’ll never get that job or partner - if I do I’ll lose it anyway....... Affirm, love and support - it’s a very simple formula. When/if one does criticize, it is 100% reflective on them only.

I love this quote. It can also help one reflect upon them self especially if a parent (or not). We can all continually grow and self improve. The past is the past, we have permission to be a product of today. Compassion.

Walking, it’s great for mental health and many other things. Walking with your partner can improve your communication which is essential for a healthy relationship.
