Our DNR goal is to raise $500+ and exceed what we raised last year. Our past costumes have been pretty epic and we know this years will be just as good. Message us, call us, or stop by the office if you would like to help us reach our goal and support the local youth in our community!

Back in June we shared with you Jake receiving his 'Jake's Fun Fund' from the fundraiser BBQ. We promised to update you on how Jake chose to spend some of his money. We all know Jake's love of lacrosse so when Jake began his physio journey he was able to take part in some activities at his physio appointments. However the Stollery did not have lacrosse sticks. Jake informed his parents that he wanted to buy the Stollery some lacrosse sticks so both he and other kids could en...joy a sport they loved while also completing their physio appointments. Jake graciously used some of his Fun Fund money to purchase lacrosse sticks for the Stollery Hospital. Jake your kindness, compassion, and willingness to share what was given to you with others during your journey truly shows what an amazing young man you are. Jake is currently still continuing his journey at the Stollery Hospital. We send him and his family well wish, thoughts, and prayers as he continues his recovery and gets closer to coming home. Jake is pictured here with the lacrosse sticks he purchased as well as his Physiotherapist.
Today is Miracle Treat Day! Did you get your blizzards....We did!

DNR was a proud sponsor of the Stettler Health Services Golf Tournament June 22/2019. DNR was the putting challenge hole sponsor. With the great turn out of teams Stettler Health Services was able to raise $6,500.00. Thank you to our DNR team member Jane and her kids Reese and Andrew for volunteering their time to represent DNR!
We had a visitor today! Jake stopped in to pick up the donations received in the Jake's Fun Fund Bucket from the BBQ. With every donation to the Fun Fund you received a signed Jake Rock lacrosse picture! Knowing Jake has a long road ahead of him this Fun Fund will allow Jake the opportunity to purchase a few items for his hospital stay and the months ahead that he will spend away from home. Hopefully there will be some day passes where Jake can enjoy a bit of a shopping spree...! Hello toy department! We did give him a few rules: 1. Has to be FUN 2. Mom and Dad are the bankers 3. He can use it on anything he wants! If you missed the BBQ or didn't get a signed picture and would like to purchase one by donation. Let us know and we can make arrangements! Jake promised to send us updates on what he spends his money on so stay tuned!
This is why we are so proud to be a part of such an amazing community. Thank you to all those who joined us for the BBQ on Friday and came out even in the rain to help support The Rock Family. It was quite the site to see, the convoy of cars coming down the gravel road and the line up of people outside the building standing in the pouring rain all in support of Jake. As a community we were able to raise over $12,000.00 for Jake Rock! All the proceeds have gone directly to Th...e Rock family to help with costs going forward in Jake's treatment. Thank you to our friends at Flaretech, Score Projects Inc, Baker Hughes, Sean's No Frills, Stettler GM, and the Stettler AG Society for their support and assistance in making this event a huge success. Thank you to all our DNR Employees for helping set up and preparing for the big event. Including cleaning, shopping, baking, and prepping & cooking food. A special shout out to Sherry Marshall who made some delicious baking it was a huge hit! If you missed the BBQ dont worry you can still donate via the Go Fund Me Page and/or at the Rock for Jake event July 9 at the community hall. If you want more information on how to donate feel free to contact us. Please continue to keep Jake and The Rock family in your thoughts as they continue on this journey.

Happy May long weekend and the end of Powerline Safety week! Whether you are camping or doing yard work, be aware of your surroundings! Look up, look out and locate powerlines when cleaning eavestroughs and windows, working on the roof, painting the house or pruning trees. Always have a signaller someone who can watch to make sure you stay at least 3 metres. Plus, you dont have to touch a powerline to receive a deadly shock. Electricity can jump or arc to you or your tools if you get too close. (Credit:Oshawa Power) #wherestheline #linelocating #weekendwarriors #cheerstosafety #callbeforeyoudig #albertaonecall

Fun Fact: DNR Pressure Welding Ltd was the engineer and fabricator of the Donalda Oil Lamp. DNR donated our time and material to complete the World's Largest Oil Lamp Replica. The fiberglass and steel pipe were donated by other local businesses to help complete this unique piece of art. The worlds largest oil lamp replica was officially opened July 1/2000, as a millennium project, designed to compliment Donalda's outstanding lamp collection. The lamp stands 42 ft. high (12....8m) and 17 ft. wide (5.18m) at the base and is made of steel and fiberglass. The lamp overlooks the Meeting Creek Coulee and lights up at dusk each night. The lamp is open for viewing during museum hours. No project is too unique for DNR to complete. For whatever your project needs maybe give DNR a call!
