One perspective. This was the night that huge fire started above Harrop. None of us knew how it would turn out, how big it would get. There it is in the distance, glowing above evening ridge. It passed. Stay strong Nelson. Now, I am grateful for fresh air.

Thousands of youth, adults, and elders took to the streets today to take a stand for the future of our planet. To hear the children unified in their plea for change will echo through me for years to come. Part of a global day of action, the turnout and vibrancy of our community was something, today, that cannot be ignored.

The larches are turning color, as the peaks get their first dusting of snow. Today was an incredible day for a hike in the Alpine.

The crisp mountain night sky dances with stars above the amazing Kaslo Jazz Fest this weekend, as Khruangbin begins the final unforgettable, epic act on Sunday night. Deep gratitude to all the endless hours and incredible effort it takes so many amazing people to bring this festival to life each year. Stoked for 2020!!!!!!
