Delaney has a fun activity to share: Water, Water Everywhere Fill a dishpan with water and place it on a towel on the floor (or better, outside). Give your little plastic cups, spoons, bowls, funnels, etc. Watch them pour, splash, and more. You could also add some food coloring to the water for a new twist on water play. As with any water activity, supervise carefully and pour all water out when you are done and use fresh water when playing again! This is not only a great sensory activity, but also a fun and easy way to keep your littles cool with warmer weather.
Aehyun has two art activities to share with you: 1. Pom Pom Pineapple: Cut an oval shape from white paper and use green construction cut-outs to glue on top, a pom pom attached to a clothespin and orange or yellow paint. The dipping and stamping of the dot brush is so fun and beneficial for bored kids at home. 2. Dande-Lion: You draw a lions face on a sheet of white paper and set out a bottle of glue + a bin of our collected dandelions for this simple craft. We had the best time gluing the fuzzy yellow flowers on the lions face.
Danielle has some ideas to share to make use of those delivery boxes :) https://pin.it/1vkzzJ9

You can Also add traffic lights so they can learn about the traffic rules. ... Learning : To enhance learning add letters so children can learn and recognize the letters of their name. Add parking lots, they can also count the number of cars in the parking lot.
This is a recipe that has been in our family for years. Its for a cookie, Mom made these for us and they were the best that myself and siblings loved, and still do! Mix flour, sugar, baking power, baking soda and salt together. Fold in margarine. Banana Cookies 3 1/3 cups flour... 1 1/2 cups sugar 3 teaspoons baking powder 1/3 teaspoon baking soda 1 1/8 teaspoons salt 1 cup margarine 3 eggs 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla 1 1/2 cups ripe mashed bananas Cinnamon sugar Mix flour, sugar, baking power, baking soda and salt together. Fold in margerine. In second bowl mix together mashed bananas, eggs and vanilla. Combine together. Spoon (tablespoon) drop on a greased cookie sheet and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Bake in 400 oven for 10-12 minutes They are a soft cookie. Every time I make them they bring back great memories of Mom. Everyone enjoy! Keep safe, Mary-Ellen

ARE YOUR KIDS STUCK HOME? Need some indoor activities for your kids ASAP? Here it is: my 40+ BEST INDOOR ACTIVITY IDEAS. I know so many of us have kids coming h...ome for the next few weeks due to Coronavirus - what will they do all day? For me, I love an activity as a reset button, a break, a helpful tool to get play going in our house. If I have a kid struggling or siblings fighting or I just need a quick break from it all... activities are where I turn. I went through my website all morning looking for the EASIEST activities with the fewest and most basic supplies. In my BEST INDOOR ACTIVITIES LIST, you will also find a short shopping list should you need to stock up on a few supplies. The list is light and as with most of my activities, I use basic supplies that we have around the home. Activities dont need to be fancy or overly complicated or stunningly beautiful to be impactful, engaging, and helpful. I so hope this list can give you some ideas and a jumping off point as many of us look to a future with kids at home. Ill keep being here with ideas and ways to navigate these days, but for now - hopefully this is a helpful place for you to start. SEE IT HERE: https://busytoddler.com/2020/03/indoor-activities/
