Know Your Skin Type As I was saying in my previous post: The right routine starts with knowing what kind of skin you have. Then you'll know how to take care of it. In a simple manner we could say like this: skin types are classified like: Dry skin is flaky, scaly, or rough, not produce enough oil Oily skin is shiny, greasy, and may have big pores with an excess sebum (oil) production... Combination skin is dry in some spots (cheeks) and oily in others (forehead, nose, and chin). Normal skin has a good oil-water balance, is clear, and not sensitive. Sensitive skin is fragile, thin, redness, may sting, burn, or itch after you use some makeup or other products, and is considers being more a condition than a skin type, but is also genetically predisposed. Nowadays is increasingly common. But the things are not so simple. Like always, isn’t it? Because on all of this types are also a lot of skin conditions present, and also many internal and external factors which affect it. Acne, dehydration, pigmentation disorders, rosacea, hyperkeratinization, aging, are only few skin conditions who concern us. Let's take it slowly and follow me to simplify step by step all of this. Love, Laura

How do you know what is the best for you?? One of the most important parts of a successful skin care treatment is the consultation. I wouldn’t spare a minute to find out more about my client skin, life, background, and other not spicy details, to have a complete image of how I should start, what I should use and how I should explain these complicated charts to my client, to be sure she’s completely clear about her skin, treatments and what products to use. With so many offe...rs, products, packages, deals, promises, guaranties and the list could go on, HOW DO YOU KNOW WHAT IS THE BEST FOR YOU? Before choosing blindly, again another miracle in a jar, it’s better to find out more about your skin needs. First of all you have to understand that are so many things which are reflected in your skin condition. Knowledge of the internal and external factors, will give you a better understanding of your skin. What type of skin do I have? (The most complicated, I know) What is the condition of my skin? (Now you are totally blurred) Very sincere: Is my skin struggling with some disorders or disease? What are my skin’s needs? Does my skin have some imbalances? (Everybody has) Is my skin irritated? Sensitive? Sensitized? Do I have some contraindications? Allergies? Medical condition? Am I under a medication? And the list could go on. Skin Care is not something simple, and can become even more complicated with unfortunately, some bad choices. The right routine starts with knowing what kind of skin you have. Then you'll know how to take care of it. If you are lost, I’m here to help. DM me for any questions. Now more than ever let’s be good with each other. Love, Laura Photo credit: @Andrei Petrean

In recent days, since I have now more time to study about my passion aka skin and skin care, I found a study about how the skin really feels when you are stressed. Prolonged anxiety and tension promote secretion of a peptide from the pituitary gland, which leads to a reduction of immunological function. Some symptoms of stressed skin: - rough texture, - sensitive skin: tactile or systemic, or both,... - inflammation: chronic or acute, - dryness, flakiness, dehydration - feeling of stinging, burning, general tightness Also the NICE concept states that the Nervous, Immune, Cutaneous and Endocrine system all work together. When one area is impacted, it affects the physiology of the skin in various ways. Do you have any of this symptoms? Or others? How did you manage them? Look forward to hearing from you and maybe to help you. Love, Laura

And yes, I did it!!!! I literally survived through my first Canadian winter. Was taught, cold, unusual and unexpectedly difficult. My sensitive skin went through different stages of dehydration, redness, irritation and then all over again. But with every step in my routine I knew it was going to be fine.... I miss you all my beautiful ladies and thank you for all your wonderfull messages. I keep you all in my heart. Ready for a new start, in a new world, to follow my dream. Canada show us what you can!

Many of you asked what was the change I introduced during summer in my routine? No big secret. Were the Peptides. What are and what Peptides do, anyway? These tiny chains of amino-acids are building blocks that notify skin cells to produce more of your skin's most inportant proteins, like Collagen, Elastin and Keratin.... Without peptides, skin doesn't remain intact and the result is loss of firmness, apperarence of wrinkles and texture changes. The best combination (I love smart combinations!! ) is with antioxidants, skin-smoothing ingredients and skin replenishing ingredients. #qatar #bestfacialsqatar #skincare #skincaretips #peptides #smartcombinations #collagen #elastin #keratin #smoothskin #dailyroutine #antioxidants
