A Garden Thyme

A spine tingling first planting for A Garden Thyme. A prickly pear castus, or as a Calgary nursery called it a Naramata cactus. Planted with rubber oven mitts that even got tagged by the prickles.

It’s official! I am now a graduate of the Prairie Horticulture Certificate from Olds College! Here’s to more gardening!

First day of summer, and I enjoyed my morning doing maintenance in one of A Garden Thyme’s client’s garden.

Greetings! Well it seems that spring may be taking its hold and we can welcome our long awaited 2018 gardening season. This means that A Garden Thyme is open for business and ready to book spring cleanups and on-going regular garden maintenance. I still have snow in my back gardens, which means that there may still be frost and excessive moisture in your gardens as well. To reduce soil compaction in your gardens, we want to ensure they are fairly dry before we start muddling around. If you would like to book your spring cleanup with A Garden Thyme, I am booking dates for mid-May. Be patient, we want to ensure optimum conditions that will reduce damage to your soil and plants.
