November is CPR month! Heartzap Safety Training & Equipment is hosting 3 FREE CPR classes to spread awareness about the benefits of CPR and to help save lives. Each year, an estimated 35,000 cardiac arrests occur in Canada. The vast majority happen in public places or at home, and few people survive. But survival rates double if someone performs CPR and uses an automated external defibrillator (AED).... 8 in 10 occur at home or in public places 1 in 10 survive cardiac arrests that happen at home or public places 2x survival doubles with immediate action The classes are: Thursday, November 5 6:30-8:00pm Saturday, November 14 11:30am-1:00pm and 2:00-3:30pm Location: The classes will be held in our training space at 1185 Franklin Blvd Unit 2 in Cambridge.
