It had been over a year since my beautiful client had been back to the salon! We did a healthy trim with some long layers and switched up the color for something completely different! Beautiful balayage that with grow out softly.

Sometimes we do things we wouldn't normally do while in lockdown....but don't worry, all things can be fixed!

I'm sorry everyone but it looks like Simcoe Muskoka is back in the grey zone as of Monday March 1st So...sadly this means Ahead Above Salon is closed again. I will be contacting everyone with pre-booked appointments to reschedule. Thank you all again for your patience. Hold tight, things will get better!

Ahead Above Salon Update!!!! It's getting close, I can feel it! For all of my guests who have been so kind and patient... I think it's getting close to when I can safely open my doors again! Currently I am still closed but I am booking appointments into March and onward. Firstly I am rescheduling all who had pre-existing appointments and all my reoccurring clients from over the years, but I am also gladly accepting new clients as well! I will keep you all posted! ... To my loyal understanding clients... I have not forgotten about you, and have missed our time together! I know I will have my work cut out for me when we are able to see one another again and I am looking forward to it!!! I can quite honestly say that I am excited to see how creative you have all been with your own hair or your loved ones hair, over this time. ;-) I know how anxious most of you have been to book an appointment and return to the salon. ... There will be changes, and visits will be different upon your return, but I will try my best to keep it safe, healthy and comfortable. Also, some new safety precautions have been put in place and I will be implementing them in and around the salon. There will be new guidelines that I myself will be following and will ask everyone to participate in as well, this will help ensure a safe salon environment. I will be contacting all of you when I will be able to open. I will try my best to accommodate re-booking appointments. Know that no client will be taking priority over another and I am doing my best to keep things fair. I will unfortunately not be able to take bookings as I use to. In order to properly sanitize/disinfect in between clients, spacing in between appointments will be practiced and therefore it may take longer than normal to book an appointment, but I promise you, you will get one. Again, I truly thank you all for your understanding and continued patience throughout this time! We will get through this! I can not wait to see you all soon!
