Sunday, June 7, 2020 The Association of Islamic Charitable Projects Denounces Insulting Lady ^Aishah, And Calls for Wisdom, Eradicate Sedition and For Handling People’s Concerns Statement for the Media The Association of Islamic Charitable Projects issued the following statement:... The topic of insulting and cursing ‘the mother of the believers’, the wife of the Prophet, Lady ^Aishah, may Allah raise her rank, keeps being brought into circulation from time to time. This great and knowledgeable woman about whom history documented many merits and abundant virtues; through whom noble hadiths were narrated, and men and women received teachings and knowledge. Such an act is an enormous sin that is reprehensible and condemned by all people of reason and understanding. While the Association of Islamic Charitable Projects, strongly condemns the cursing of Lady ^Aishah, may Allah raise her rank, and calls for the following: 1. To set a limit to all those who are tempted to fall into this sin for violating religious rulings and provocation of sedition. We, in these difficult circumstances, are in dire need of the unity of the Islamic and national fronts to confront our enemies who lie in wait at home and abroad. 2. For the religious authorities to continuously spread awareness and sound concepts, not only on occasions and upon the occurrence of certain incidents 3. To refrain from pointless provocative speeches that draw a similar response, and to beware of repeated attempts to stir seditions, inflame, and spread malicious rumours. 4. Not to divert the public protests from their peaceful framework and to pay attention to what some weave covertly and publicly by charging up people under sectarian slogans that have nothing to do with people's griefs, their economic, financial and living demands. Finally, the Association calls everyone to wisdom, vigilance, work with the requirements of the national public interest and to shield our country from slipping into the unknown. It also calls for the acceleration in the handling of crises and people's concerns away from the narrow accounts that have brought Lebanon to what it is in. #Aishah # #Lebanon #
