The Airdrie Health Foundation is proud to introduce the Tribute Tree. Our tree inside the Urgent Care & Community Health Centre is in honour of the special people in our lives. We will fill it with decorations purchased by the public and the funds raised will go to enhance local health care in Airdrie. Funds raised through this campaign will go to purchase a baby warmer for Urgent Care, to help babies from newborn to 6 months old stay warm while being monitored. Help us... decorate! For a minimum donation of $10, we will add the name of a person you are recognizing to an ornament. Multiple decorations may be purchased (each $10). A tax receipt will be issued for all donations made through CanadaHelps. Thanks to Real Canadian Superstore for donating the tree and decorations, 100% of proceeds go back to health care in Airdrie. We are so thrilled to announce that we have received full funding to complete the renovation of a safe mental health assessment space within the Urgent Care facility. Last week, students at WH Croxford presented the foundation with a cheque for $5124.35 towards this renovation. The high school has been raising funds for two years through their Movement for Mental Health events and in 2019 raised around $24,000. In 2020 the school raised this $5124.35 before their fundraisi...ng was cut short due to COVID-19 back in the spring. To WH Croxford - THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND PARTNERSHIP!
