I am hosting my second TED Circle (via TED Circles) on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 5:00 PM EST. This event is for creatives, including artists, entrepreneurs, and executives. We will be watching a TED Talk on mindfulness, followed by a discussion on the cultivation of mindfulness and creativity, and how the two are interrelated. ... All Canadian residents that register for this event will be entered into a giveaway with a chance to win a black Zafu meditation cushion via REALthings (https://ift.tt/36E1oSf), and an online consultation with the company's founder and designer Julie Jarvis. On Saturday, February 6, 2021, at 10:40 AM EST, I will be speaking at The World Affairs Conference (WAC), which is Canada’s oldest annual student-run current affairs conference, produced by Upper Canada College, Branksome Hall, Toronto, and others. WAC is the largest conference of its kind, annually held at Upper Canada College in Toronto, Canada, and it connects over a thousand students, with a common interest in current affairs. My presentation will focus on the capacitie...s that mindfulness has to positively transform the lives of most individuals while simultaneously improving the socio-economic mobility and health of marginalized communities around the world. I am honored to be a part of WAC 2021, and I look forward to speaking to the young leaders of the future. CreativeLive has been the premier source for online education since 2010, especially for artists and entrepreneurs. I first learned about CreativeLive through the company's CEO Chase Jarvis, a photographer, director, and entrepreneur that I have been studying for more than a decade. My original appearance on CreativeLive TV was cancelled, due to power outages in the Pacific Northwest region of The United States earlier this year. ... With that said, I am grateful for the fact that I will be speaking about mindfulness, introspection, and creativity with Kenna Klosterman for CreativeLive TV this Wednesday, January 27th at 5:00 PM EST. Registration is available via https://ift.tt/3sn1J54, and the power outages that led to my rescheduled appearance will make for a great conversation topic, as they are examples of the unpredictability of life as we perceive it. #art #creativelive #mindfulness #mentalhealth #entrepreneurship https://instagr.am/p/CKfdzeMJJxx/
