With the weather finally starting to cooperate, we will have the driving range open today at 3:00 p.m!

Alderdale Greens will be open for the 2021 season Wednesday April 28th (weather depending). The clubhouse will be open on Tuesday to take tee times. We are still following strict COVID regulations and walk-on's will not be allowed. We will require face masks to be worn in the clubhouse and physical distancing will be enforced. If you are sick you must stay home. Looking forward to another great year!

Thank you to our customers and staff for another great season! Things looked a little different this year, but we are so grateful we still got to share it with each of you. Stay safe, wash your hands, and we will see you in 2021!

October 5th - 11th will be customer appreciation week. All rounds will be $10! Tee times must be booked in advance by calling 902-564-6187. Bookings can be done same and day before only.

The driving range is open for business! Driving range hours are 7am-5pm and tokens can be purchased from the clubhouse for $5.75

Driving range update...we are getting close! Our pulley systems are in and the netting will be up very soon. There is still no official opening date but we are doing our best to get open before the end of August. It's been a wild season so far, from not knowing if the course could even open this year to then dealing with shipping delays and products being out of stock. On a positive note, we are having some of the best weather we've had in a long time. We are excited to be adding the driving range and can't wait to get it open!

We will be open Saturday May 16th at 8am for tee times only. Only 1 customer will be allowed in the clubhouse at a time. We will have a condensed version of the rules posted for players to review. Golf courses will be allowed to open as of 8am May 16th. We are working hard to be able to open for tomorrow! There will be several protocols put in place to ensure the safety of both staff and customers. These rules will be posted to this page once finalized and will be displayed in the clubhouse as well. We ask your patience at this time as things will be a little different this season. See you soon!

It is officially spring and although golf may not be on everyone's minds currently, we are happy to report things are turning green! We know the next few weeks are a bit of an unknown, but it's nice to have things to look forward to. Stay safe and follow the guidelines, we will be here when the world is better.

Yearly passes are now available for the 2020 season! These passes can be purchased at the clubhouse for $700+tax

For the rest of the season all rounds are just $10!

Another year and another successful tournament in honor of Kathleen Lewis! Thank you to the players and to everyone who donated to make this day a success. This year $3472.30 was raised and a total donation of $5000 will be made to the Cancer Patient Care Fund at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. This year we had a tie for first place with a score of 30. Congratulations to George/Dave/Brian/Andrew & Burger/Raymond/Russel/Shaun! In second place with a score of 31 was Keith/J...oe/Kyle/Charles. Closest to the hole: Men's - Drake Marinelli Ladie's - Gen MacLeod As always, this day wouldn't be possible without those behind the scenes pulling it all together to make it run smoothly. A big thank you to the staff and volunteers for the hard work that goes into this event.

Alderdale Greens would like to give a BIG shout out to Colbourne Chrysler! We highly recommend Colbournes and would like to thank them for being so community minded.

We open Thursday! Everything is turning green and the snow should be done so we are opening May 2nd.

This coming week at Alderdale will be Customer Appreciation Week! Sunday October 7th to Saturday October 13th all rounds will be just $10!

The results are in! The winning team of the Kathleen Lewis Memorial Golf Tournament was Burger Mombourquette's Team with a score of 31 (3 under par). We had a 4 way tie for 2nd place with 32 - Kevin Skinner's Team, George MacIntyre's Team, Rob Kennedy's Team and Brian Fitzgerald's Team. Closest to the hole: Men's - George MacIntyre ... Ladies - Darlene MacLean Closest to the line: Cody Campbell Chase the Ace Winner: Sheldon Reid $367.50

Alderdale Greens would like to send out a HUGE thank you to everyone who helped in making The Kathleen Lewis Memorial Tournament a success. There are not too many people in Cape Breton that haven’t been touched in someway by cancer and thanks to your participation and donations this year we were able to raise $3792.30! The money will be be donated to the Cancer Patient Care Fund at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. Great Job Everyone!

Eric Lewis and his daughter Arielle recently came to see Tom McNeil in the Cape Breton Cancer Centre. Eric and Arielle were dropping off a cheque for $4000.00 ...for the Cancer Patient Care Fund in memory of Eric’s wife and Arielle’s mother, Kathleen. They hold an annual golf tournament at Alderdale Greens golf course. The tournament also includes some FUNdraisers such as: pie throwing in faces of employees, hot dog sales & a small chase the ace. Thank you Eric and Arielle, this is an amazing way to honour Kathleen.
