OCTOBER 2020 MARKET STATS FOR GTA Key points: - Average price of detached homes in Toronto is $1,470,857. - Average price of condos in Toronto is $668,161.... - Average sale price increased 13.7% & average number of sales increased 25.1% (October 2019 vs. October 2020). - Number of new listings added to the market this October was a record 36.4% over the same month last year and the highest increase for the month for the last 20 years. As you can tell, Covid-19 has increased the demand for larger dwellings outside of the city core due to the fact that many people are working from home now.
