A LITTLE WALK IN THE WOODS For this shoot with @penelope_artemis & @geotech_guru I discovered this adorable little trail right around the corner of my house, and I had NO IDEA it existed. Earlier that day it was wet and gloomy, but about an hour before the shoot, it started snowing Thankfully it did because the shots we got were made THAT much more magical with the snow on the trees

WHAT A YEAR This year was a strange one for business - I couldn’t work because it wasn’t allowed to for a big part of the year, then right when I though things were slowly getting back to normal.... NOPE. With most of my 2020 weddings postponed... I spent a good part of my summer gardening, which is something I never thought I’d say. Mostly because I never really thought I’d have the time to garden, let alone actually get good at growing plants and being a plant mom... The Importance of a Trial . This weekend we did a trial for a gorgeous 2020 bride. After our initial consultation, she still wasnt 100% sure of the style she wanted... So we did both looks! . At this trial, our bride had it in her mind that she usually wears her hair down, so she thought that would look best on her. Although she liked the hair half-up, when we switched to the updo, she was taken aback by how much she loved it and how bridal she felt. ... . Trials days are meant to hash out any doubts you have about the look you are hoping to achieve for your big day. Sometimes we nail it on the first try, sometimes in takes some tweaking. After the trial, our bride decided that her dress was so over the top detailed that her hair needed to be a little more simple. So we went for a messy low bun. I backcombed her bun to make it VERY exaggerated. But it went PERFECTLY with the dress. #MessyBun #TorontoBride #LowBun #Classic.

Bridesmaid #3 had VERY curly hair, and on this wedding date, it was very humid. So we went with an updo that was relaxed and romantic in case her curls came through. #RomanticUpdo #CurlyHair #CurlyHairUpdo
