215 215 lives lost. 215 dreams not realized. 215 stories left untold. 215 opportunities for traditional knowledge to be shared.... They are our knowledge keepers. They are our families. They are our past, our present, and our future. A mass grave was discovered at a former residential school in Kamloops, BC with the remains of 215 children. We join with the rest of the country in mourning the loss of these precious young lives. Flags at all of our schools and Division Office will be lowered to half-mast in memory of these children and to honour their lives. We all have a part to play in reconciliation. Every Child Matters.
