After work this week one of our signals crews were back at their motel sitting down for dinner outside when they noticed a tree on fire at the end of the parking lot. Without skipping a beat the entire crew sprang into action and successfully extinguished the blaze before the fire department had arrived. Allied would like to Welcome Harlee Barfknecht-Zuber To The Allied Team. Harlee is a native Hamiltonian and takes great pride in being from Steel City. She graduated from Mohawk College with a Diploma in Advertising and after graduation followed her passion, where she learned how to train horses for the hunter and jumper rings. After years of competing she has now retired from the A circuit but still rides for pleasure and maintains her Equine Canada Membership and has he...r certification up to level 6. While pursuing her passion with horses Harlee Paid the Bills by working at Turtle Jacks at a couple of locations giving her vast experience in the hospitality industry and working with people. While this was a challenging career for over a decade and was offered additional opportunities with the Turtle Jack Group, Harlee wanted more. The opportunity to begin her sales and Marketing career came through Mainstream Metals in Burlington and Harlee dove headfirst into her new industry. Her drive and determination were quickly noticed, and she was transitioned into her Role of New business Development at American Iron and Metal. Through these challenging and rewarding roles Harlee joined the AWMI (Association of Women and Metal) where she currently volunteers on the board. Harlee is excited to be part of the team at Allied Track especially during these challenging times, she acknowledges that many businesses have been deemed as essential but being part of an industry that services such an integral part of the supply chain is something to be proud of! Harlee looks forward to meeting more of you and becoming an integral part of our industry.
