Reopening Today...............yay !!!!

Hello Smithers! As many of you know, I had the pleasure of working at Alpine Physiotherapy for the past year. It was a wonderful experience and I have made some... great connections through the clinic. COVID-19 has caused this summer to be a strange one and I have been off work for longer than I anticipated, but I am excited to announce that I will be venturing off on my own and will now be seeing clients out of my home. It is with some sadness that we bid farewell to Tyson and Emily. Tyson has followed his heart to Prince George and Emily is not well enough to return to regular work. We wish them both every success in their future endeavors and thank them so much for their contributions to our Alpine Physiotherapy & Massage family. You will be missed.

INTERACTIVE VIDEO ASSESSMENT AND TREATMENT: Whilst we are still opened for urgent care patients (those with severe pain, have neurological signs and symptoms, or who are post surgical) we have recently expanded our Video Home Healthcare to provide remote access to Physiotherapy for those who are self-isolating. All that is required is an internet connection and a mobile phone, tablet or computer. We send you a link which you click to establish a secure video connection with o...ne of our physiotherapists. The physiotherapist is able to diagnose your condition and provide a treatment plan that they complete with you in real time during your session. At the end of each session we collaborate with you to set goals and provide you with a home program to speed your recovery. We are still opened for people who are post surgical, or are suffering and need urgent care. Our Massage Therapy has been suspended. We are maintaining the highest standard of cleanliness throughout the clinic and taking precautions to minimize risk to our patients and staff. At the moment we are cancelling all patients who are over 65 years of age (your will receive a phone call if not already contacted) and those who are / who have family members who are immune compromised. We are in the process of setting up a video health link that we can use to help non-urgent patients and will keep you informed of its roll-out.
