Thank you to everyone who supported the online concert, Remember the Music presented by TranzitionzJazz, held on October 4th, 2020. This event not only raised $5,000 for the Alzheimer Society of Toronto, but also raised awareness about Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias and brought awareness to what the Alzheimer Society of Toronto does for the community, which we are so grateful for. The funds raised through Remember the Music will help us continue to provide virtual s...ocial and recreation programming which helps alleviate the feelings of loneliness and isolation felt by people living with dementia and their care partners. As well as provide education and fund research. If you are interested in hosting your own fundraising event, please reach out to Holly Groeneveld at [email protected].
