Another family heirloom saved!! Sonia’s family treasure was literally in pieces! Check out the before photos ... I glued, I screwed, and oh boy did I sand. It’s all I can taste! But wow wow wow! I finally stained this gorgeous table in Kona with a satin poly top coat. She’s got many many years left in her now! Just wow!!

Just a cute little table I refinished for Ellen The table had a dated leather inlay that didn’t do the new finish justice, so I lightly sanded the leather and painted it. I also lined the drawer with some funky fabric and painted the table legs to match.

SOLD I had these 2 odd chairs in my inventory and I wanted to make them WOW The green chair is painted in Spring Fancy and distressed. The thick fabric is AMAZING The black chair has a solid jet black paint job with some groovy vintage look fabric ... Both are very sturdy and would work great in an entrance or as an office chair?! $75 each!

Ladies , don’t be jealous....but Christine has an entire bedroom in her home that she uses as a dressing room She has so many shoes that she needed a large piece to house SOME OF THEM! Seriously! So I found this gorgeous antique armoire for her!... Painted the body and Inside in Limousine Leather black and refreshed the dark walnut doors and legs. I also repaired the shelves to accommodate the weight of the her shoe collection! So awesome! Enjoy Christine!

I have done several Vilas Maple pieces for Judith. She loves the Au Natural look! Looks easy right?? Don’t let this fool you. I sand in every crack and crevice until my fingertips are worn out and almost bleeding. ... I do it because the end result is so worth it

Is your piece solid wood??? So you go on the hunt for a solid wood coffee table.... Bring it to your favourite furniture fixer upper Rona Now the fun begins...... Susan thought this table was solid wood. Why wouldn’t you right? The top had many scratches, so I bust out the sander to discover that the top is actually paper thin veneer. (see photo). So I cannot sand out all the scratches. I Ended up making a whole new top for this one. A SOLID WOOD TOP! It’s gorgeous now If you are ever wondering if your piece is solid wood: Look at the unfinished pieces. Underneath, is the grain the same? Not that you cannot work with veneer, but there are different qualities and thicknesses. If you have any questions, I am always here to help!

This is what my busy week looked like A sideboard Dining table with 2 leafs 6 chairs. ... All painted in a deep denim blue and glazed. The tops were stripped and sanded down, and finished in Early American. I also sprayed all the hardware OIl Rubbed Bronze Enjoy your beautiful dining set Rie. Phew! That was a tough job. I need a drink

Anywho....I picked up this dresser set for Mikes mom and I was worried I couldn’t make it ....AMAZING?!? She chose the paint colour forever denim, and I distressed all the edges. I did a Jacobean stain on the tops and sprayed the new hardware in oil rubbed bronze to match the tops. Georgina is so excited to get these in her room...Phew!
