The horrific struggle to establish a human self results in a self whose humanity is inseparable from that horrific struggle. Our endless and impossible journey towards home is in fact our home Don't ask yourself what the world needs, ask yourself what makes you come alive, and then go and do that. Because what the world needs is more people who have come alive.

Do not wait. If you have a dream, and you're waiting for the "right" time to chase it, do not wait. If you have feelings for someone, but you're waiting for the "right" time to tell them, do not wait. If you want to make things right with someone you had a falling out with, but you're waiting for the "right" time, do not wait.... If you are wanting to learn a new skill, but you're waiting for the "right" time, do not wait. What are we truly waiting for when it comes to these examples and many more? I write this now because within the past couple days, I have been shown how quickly our realities can change. How an opportunity that we once had, can be ripped away in a matter of seconds. Our lives are SHORT, and we get ONE in this human form. ONE LIFE, and it is flying by. Yes, you do have time. But tomorrow is NEVER guaranteed, so.. why wait? On October 7th, I lost my Father. For over 5 years, our relationship was not at all close, not by choice. MANY times I thought about calling him, but I didn't, because I thought another time might be better. I was putting my heart on the line, which was scary, so I didn't do it. And now, all I want to do is call him. But I can't. So, I write this not only for your relationship with family and friends in your life, but for anything that you get a nudge to do or go after. DO IT. Because you are not guaranteed more time, nor are the people that you care about. Chase those dreams, call your family, hug your loved ones, go do the SCARY & EXCITING things. I don't want any of you to have regret. What I hope for you when you read this is that you are inspired to do what you've been putting off, even if it feels scary. A reminder today, That you are a miracle. This life is a gift.... This moment, this breath, this day. I know things are challenging right now. I know that your life may feel like it’s crumbling beneath you. Know that your crumbling will be your greatest re-birth. This darkness will show you your light. No matter what, you are not alone. I want you to know that. Take a moment for yourself today, to hold your hands on your beautiful heart, and take a breath. Feel what I feels like to be alive.
