Hello Folks, my Dad is participating in this event to raise funds for a great cause that I'm sure has touched all of our lives in one way or another. Please share and/or donate! His team is "Terry's Team" (instructions on how to donate are at the bottom of this post). The proceeds from the St. John’s walk/run will go to the Pottle Centre The Pottle Centre describes itself as a drop-in social centre for consumers of mental health services in St. John’s, who provide a safe and ...healthy place for people to be social, enjoy some special events and get involved. You can see more on their site at https://pottlecentre.org/. If you would like to donate: Go to https://mdsc.akaraisin.com/ui/DD2019/pledge/sponsor/start; Click on the Blue Donate Button at the Top, Right of the screen; Scroll up and click on Team; Enter Terry’s Team in the search box, click the search icon.and eureka, that’s us; and now, Click on the DONATE box and follow the instructions. THEN, GO ENJOY YOUR DAY KNOWING YOU’VE DONE SOMETHING POSITIVE FOR THE WORLD! Thanks everyone.
I had a same day mobile video assignment to do a couple of weeks ago, I covered Jack Astor’s Shamrockin 5K fundraiser for Nevaeh’s Lemonade Stand on March 17, 2019. Amazing what you can do with an iPhone and a nifty app. Apologies in advance for the robot-voiced lady at the end - I'm working on it lol https://youtu.be/2wSF355_IlQ
Great read by Prajwala Dixit
My first freelance photo gig for the CBC Newfoundland and Labrador went online today http://bit.ly/2PoqdHT Zhu Chunyan and her family were great to work with and I had loads of fun chasing the kiddos around the Whee Indoor Playground! Great story Prajwala Dixit

Just another day at the office! Shooting a multimedia assignment about the BSTR course at RelyOnNutec (formerly Falck Safety services).

Hello folks, Im looking for some input on an assignment Im working on about the role that social media plays in relation to anxiety, especially in young people. Does it help or hinder? If you have an experience youre willing to share please reach out and DM me.
When and where is St. Patricks Day a bigger deal than Christmas? https://youtu.be/pkz231EWOWI
National honour for a local scholar. Congratulations Dr. Neis!
This looks like a great learning opportunity for anyone interested in filmmaking.
Hey artists, Need some help cleaning up your home music recordings? Robert Kelly is offering to "fix your stuff".
An inspirational story about a great work team!
As promised, here are a few more pics from Justin Trudeau visit to Memorial University of Newfoundland last week, including the full pic that was used on the front page of Saturdays The Telegram.
I love it when a plan comes together - I also love seeing my name in the photo credit on the front page of The Telegram!
-19 with the windchill in St. Johns today - great day for an outdoor press conference with the PM!
I attended a Coffee and Culture event The Rooms in St. Johns a few weeks ago and met the most interesting man who has a most interesting family history. These types of stories can really make you feel like an underachiever. http://kicker.cna-nl.com/2019/02/04/eleven-boxes/
Now that Ive officially outed myself for being a journalism student at CNA I figure its only fair to start posting some of my work on fb, so here goes... I always wonder why I can get text notifications about upcoming appts from my hairdresser, but Eastern Health still sends my appts bookings and reminders by "snail mail" so I decided to see what I could find out... https://bit.ly/2MQi8KP... Feel free to send any thoughts or feedback
Its always nice to see your finished work on display - the signage, not the baked goods - credit for the baked goods goes to Chatmans Bakery of course
One of my favourite evening pics of the summer.
Now thats a bit of pie!!! Loving my new Lightbox for product photography. #somuchpiesolittletime
A Sunday walk for a great cause tomorrow!
Horizons magazine 2017 hit the streets on Friday and yours truly shot the photos for the feature story and cover. Thank you again to Amelia Curran for being such a great subject.
From Helicopters to "sweet treat" photos for Chatmans Bakery all in one day! The trick with the sweet treats is not to let anyone snack on the product before the photos are done.
Here are some samples of my photography work.

Im delighted to be involved with this event as a photography sponsor!
I did a photo shoot with Amelia a few weeks ago! She was great to work with and the photos were a big hit with my client.
Should be a great show everyone!
Attended my first Executive meeting for Eastern Avalon Chapter Crohns and Colitis Canada @CCEasternAvalon last night as their new volunteer Digital Media Lead. Its time to put all that social media training to good use! So sign up for this years Gutsy Walk as an individual or get a team together, happening June 4, annual #GutsyWalk for Crohns and Colitis Canada @getgutsycanada. It takes guts to stop #Crohns & #colitis .
