Only TWO HOURS LEFT Let’s make sure we all go VOTE Message your aunties, text the group chat, call your long lost childhood friend... let’s do this!

Sharing my friend Michelle's powerful words on what's happening here in Labrador. The first thing I did this morning when I woke up was to email the Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner of the Canadian Coast Guard to demand that we actually learn from our mistakes, and to resume the search and RESCUE mission (and not prematurely declare it a recovery mission). I encourage you all to do the same thing. We need all eyes on Southern Labrador. We need to bring Marc and Joey hom...e. We need better Search and Rescue services. Keep the families in your thoughts, and continue to demand better.
Do you have a plan to vote today? Find your polling station at elections.ca Get your ID together (don’t know what you need? Message me!) Plan a time to go to the polls (between 8am to 8pm in most of Labrador; 8:30am to 8:30pm in the Straits)... Text a friend and vote together! Happy voting, friends! Don’t forget to reach out if you have any questions or concerns, or if you need a ride!!!

The polls open soon!! You can cast your ballot from 8am to 8pm. What is inspiring you to vote in this election? When you're done text Jagmeet to let him know how it went. 613-801-8210
Please read and share, and keep Marc and Joey in your thoughts.
If/when you get your ballot, please complete and return as soon as possible. If you don’t get yours by Friday the 12th, email Elections NL at [email protected] or call 1 (877) 729-7987.
The most recent change to the deadline to return mail-in ballots doesn’t actually help Labradorians. Jordan Brown, Patricia Johnson-Castle, and I have written to Elections NL to ask to get this deadline changed to a postmarked by deadline rather than a received by deadline. This will help ensure Labradorians are not left out of this election because of things like weather and service delivery. You can read our full letter below.... In the meantime, if/when you receive your ballot please return it as quickly as possible to ensure your voice is heard. If you do not have your ballot by Friday March 12th, email Elections NL at [email protected] or call 1 (877) 729-7987. https://www.nl.ndp.ca//labrador-candidates-letter-to-elect
CBC’s On The Go is looking to speak with anyone who still hasn’t received their ballot! Have you received yours?
Happy International Women’s Day a day to celebrate and honour the impacts, successes, and power of women. I thought I’d highlight and thank some of the incredible women in my life. The women who shaped me, who nurtured me, who inspire me. The women who make me laugh, who are always there for me, and make me want to be a better person. My mom Kelly - for being a true role model, for teaching me how to treat others with compassion, and for always being there for me. ... My grandma Beatrice - for showing me the importance and strength of who we are. My sisters Aimee, Natalie, and Holly - for always having my back, no matter what. My stepmom Renee - for being a true joy and reminding me of the importance of humour. My aunts Gwen, Jill, and Cindy. My cousins. Friends, old and new. My fellow Guide leaders, and sisters in Guiding. The powerful women water protectors I’ve gotten to know these past few years. I am grateful for all of the amazing women in my life. You’ve all made me who I am today. So here’s to strong women: may we know them, we be them, may we raise them #InternationalWomensDay
In case you missed it: I was on APTN News Nation to Nation to talk about the provincial election, our district of Lake Melville, and Indigenous issues. It feels like a lifetime, but it was just over a month ago! #FightingForYou #nlpoli
