As Canadians we look out for each other. Whether it’s at home, in each of our provinces and territories, for our seniors, our health care workers, our sick, our elderly, victims of abuse and tragedy, we stand together as individuals and as a country to help and support them to keep them safe. We also stand with those who suffer as a result of an International catastrophic event. Today we remember the victims, and their families, of the horrific crash a year ago of the aircraft in Iran. 138 passengers were on their way to Canada, and many of those were coming home. I’m sure that many of us have experienced some form of tragedy or loss in our lives and know what it feels like to lose someone we deeply care about. On this day please take a moment to remember them and others that we have lost.

Make 2021 the year that You want it to be. Live Life. Be Brave.

As we go through these last few days of 2020, I’m thanking all of those who work tirelessly on our behalf to care for our sick in All care facilities including our homes. I also pray for them to be strong, stay healthy and reach out for help when you need the extra support. So many not only care for others but they have families to care for as well. Thank you for ALL that you do, every day. God Bless

I have discovered throughout these times of COVID 19 how Resilient I am in these types of unexpected times. The word ‘pivot’ took on such a greater meaning than what it is usually associated with, Dance. And yet, that’s exactly what we did. We changed ‘The Dance’. Each of us in our own way and circumstance. So, give yourself some credit for what you did to ‘pivot’ and create a ‘New Dance’with ‘New Steps’. We all are still learning and creating those New Steps as we usher out 2020 and welcome in 2021! Merry Christmas and Best Wishes for the New Year! and remember to Dance!!

Interesting statistics. Rents are even higher in Barrie than what is posted here. This is after all the ‘median’ not even an average of rents in Barrie and even the area around Barrie. Location Location Location still determines value.

Rent cheaper in Barrie?! I think not!! Add utilities including HEAT and we are equal to or more than Toronto. More advantages though! Much closer to Kempenfelt Bay for most of Barrie and closer to cottage country too!!

July 11, 2020. The beauty of each sunset surpasses the one before and creates excitement for the next one. This is part of being at a cottage. The sound of water lapping the shore, the call of a loon, the twitter of a bird..... Nature’s Silence...... isn’t silent at all.... but you can hear it. No cars, no horns blaring, no sirens wailing.... Buying a cottage/cabin/waterfront/water access/waterlot...... what does it all mean? It’s not the same as buying a house in the city. There are many factors to take in to account. I’ve been ‘on water’ all my life. I’ve learned personally first and then through my 23 years of being a realtor, the specifics of buying a property on the water.
