Moments like these don't happen on their own, but I capture them like they do. The truth is, wedding days are insanely busy & there is so much on the bride & grooms mind, so I take it upon myself to make sure these scenes are setup perfectly, then I remove myself & capture what happens. This type of shooting comes with years of experience & knowing what needs to be captured. For the first look with the bride & her girls like these photos here, I have the bride put on her dr...ess in a different room, alone (as best she can before we finish it after). I set her girls up somewhere with a great background & nice natural lighting. Then I ask the bride to enter the room slowly & this is what we get, real, natural reactions from her bridesmaids & beautifully lit, clean photos. This fall was prefect for photo sessions, it stayed warm way longer than previous years, the colours we're beautiful & there was no rain!! I was so busy doing shoots (it was actually insane) I had no time to share anything, so here's one of the many many great sessions I had! Not being able to travel for the better part of 2020 has allowed to me to dive deep into my photo archives from past trips to find old photos I hadn't had the chance to edit & publish yet. Here are some new ones from a 2018 trip to NYC.

I love when clients order frames of their photos from our shoots. It's great to "finish" the photos off & give them something tangible after our session! I love how these finished piece turned out from a great fall session!

Just a classic Windsor shot I took the other night!

A big goal of mine since I started photography was to work with California brands I loved that were into cool stuff that I was into, surfing, motorcycles, traveling, adventure, etc. Seaweed & Gravel, one of my favourite companies in SoCal sent me some of their clothing to shoot some photos of, so I did this self portrait shoot a few nights back. Looking forward to working with them more in the future!

Two years, today marks two years since I released my first book 'Iceland.' I can't believe it, time has gone by so fast. This entire project was one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life & the response from everyone was so amazing. Not being able to travel & work on my new ideas & projects this year has been hard. It makes looking back on these memories feel even more special. I'm glad I bought that ticket 3 years ago & flew to Iceland alone with no idea what to expect.
