We were recently reminded to post a picture of the completed Mural. Here it is.. The Mural is still attracting lots of visitors. Leaving the store last night we watched a mom and her two young daughters taking pictures of the girls with their arms around the Thrush - perfect! A few people have asked so here is the ‘proper’ info: ... The dragonfly is a Seaside Dragonlet, the songbird is a Northern Waterthrush, the woodpecker is a Pileated Woodpecker. The fish are Brook Trout - and the Beaver! (Thanks for the proper ID info Randy) Credits The artists were: Micheal Burt, Daniel Burt, and Donnie Fraser brothers and childhood friends who get to do what they love - tracksidestudios.ca/ They asked to give a big call-out to all the folks who visited and supported them as they worked on the wall. If you have not, be advised: Halifax graffiti artist Micheal Burt is turning the wall into a piece of art. This living art project is a joint venture between the Antigonish 5-$1.00 Store and antigonishculturealive.ca. Micheal and his team will be on site over the next few days!
