Change is never without pain but I have always found myself in a better place afterwards. Throughout my life I have gone through some serious and very challenging changes. Our minds are powerful...yet we sometimes forget that we have the power to change it. What we feel in that moment may be a response to past memories and past emotions. Our interpretations of those events may not even be real. Our imaginative minds conjure up stories and situations that may never come into fruition. We have the power to decide how we will respond or think to any given particular moment. When we experience a negative response or thought, it is in our power t...o actively change our thinking. If someone or something has caused you anxiety or concern, you have to acknowledge the response and then make an active decision to switch those thoughts. No one says it's easy and I have found that the best way to switch off my thoughts is to start moving. Get up and go do something active. It also helps to say your positive thoughts to yourself. Write down your goals for the day, week, month and years. I hope this helps if you are a bit down...
