As many of you, my patients know, a hobby of mine is performing in Community Theatre. Sadly that has been shuttered due to Covid-19. I recently recorded some songs for an online production - Christmas at Home. Here's one of the songs I thought I would share with you. Considering we never rehearsed together, never sang together and recorded them separately - I think it turned out pretty nice. Still no new guidelines from the RCDSO. Doug Ford telling people that Dental Offices can now open is untrue and unhelpful. We are just as frustrated as you are. We will keep you updated.

Hello! Some of you may have seen this on the news tonight. I hate to say it - but #fakenews. We have not received any notifications from the RCDSO yet (perhaps later tonight) and there will be some time before we can deliver those new guidelines. Dental offices are still experiencing a shortage of PPE. When we were asked - we delivered our supply of PPE (masks, gloves and gowns) to Lakeridge Health. We are striving to be back open as soon as possible. (in the meantime - don't believe everything you see on the news)

An update for our valued patients. We would like to inform you about the current status of Dentistry in Ontario. On Friday, our regulatory body (the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario) released a statement and guidelines for all dentists in the province. Unfortunately it did not provide a specific date on when dental facilities can resume non-urgent operations. Routine dental procedures such as fillings (to repair broken teeth or cavities), check-ups and cleanings ...will have to wait under these guidelines. The RCDSO has stated these type of appointments can only occur when we enter a period showing that the community spread of COVID19 has been mitigated. In other words, they cannot provide a specific date, and it is highly dependent on decreasing the number of new cases the province experiences. We will continue to keep you up to date with the most recent information available, and rest assured we are here to answer any questions you may have.
