Upgraded another water filtration system in #Mulmur! Our technicians installed our replaced a continuous air injector iron filter system which was injecting air on the pressure tank. This older form of air iron filtration adds air anytime you call for water on the house. The issue with this, is that many homeowners would experience lots of air in their water and constant blow offs when using the shower.... Aquapura Water Products was able to install our Purifiner Air Over Birm iron filter which only adds air when the iron filter cleans itself. This allows us to only introduce enough air to precipitate the iron, in order for it to be filtered from the water. The result is no random bursts of air in your water, you no longer need an air bleed off tank, and you are not oxidizing air before the pressure tank, leading to costly replacements. Finally, we installed a Purifiner water softener to filter any trace amounts of soluble iron, and of course soften the water! Another succesful water softener install in Washago! Aquapura traveled to Washago to install water softener and iron filter for our customer who was having significant iron and hardness staining. We installed our Purifiner PDAF series Air over Birm iron filter system filter the iron in the water. The forced air injection allows the iron filter to also stop the iron rotten egg odour without the use of harsh chemicals like chlorine or pot perm.... Aquapura also installed our PDS-I series water softener with macroporous high iron removal media. This special media allows our water softeners to remove any lingering solube iron without sacrificing efficiency of the softener. The water treated water was colour free, soft and free of odours!

Succesful install of a Chlorine filter in Tottenham! Aquapura installed our Purifiner Catalytic Carbon filter for the filtration of THMS and chlorine in Tottenham water. Catalytic carbon is engineered to offer the best overall reduction of THMs/ chlorine for the whole house.... We also installed our Purifiner water softener for filter the hard water in Tottenham and some of the iron in Tottenham. Another successful water softener installed in #Alliston! Our technicians removed a 15 year old Fleck water softener which had eventually started leaking. The chlorine in Alliston water had also caused the water softener resin inside this Alliston water softener to be worn down. The resin inside had broken down to mush, rendering the water softener next to useless even if the leak was fixed.... Aquapura Plumbing & Heating had installed our Erie water softener with the stronger chlorine resistant water softening resin. Installed another U.V system in #Glencairn ! Our customer in Glencairn had a well which tested positive for coliforms. Their concern of bacteria and potential growth of e.coli led to the install of our Purifiner UV Duplex Sterilization System. This compact system allows us to fit the system with two pre-filters. The sediment and carbon pre-filter allow the Ultraviolet System to disinfect the water without the U.V sleeve getting dirty.... Needless to say, we have another family in Glencairn with safe, potable water!

Answered an emergency call from a customer with no water in #Alliston. Our technicians quickly found the problematic "big box" store water softener was the issue as a simple bypass had restored their water pressure! Their 2 year old water softener was destroyed by chlorine and the resin beads inside had broken down and ruptured the plastic basket in this picture. Luckily, the homeowner caught this in time and we were able to help them bypass the system over the phone to prev...ent the beads from clogging their plumbing. A lot of these mass produced water softeners use low quality water softening resin, which is broken down by the elevated levels of chlorine in cities like #Alliston. This water softener was only 2 years old and needed to be replaced already! The homeowner was tired of troubleshooting several other issues plaguing the water softener and this issue was the last straw. The old resin was turned to mush and just dissolved in our hands! We removed their old softener and replaced it with our high quality Purifiner water softener system. Our water softeners use only the best quality of water softener resin, which has been used by us and our manufacturer for over 50 years without issues!
