A clear moonlit night in the Orchard just after Winter Solstice . In times past and still today in some parts of the world this is the time for wassailing . This is were you go into the orchard banging pots, making noise (to scare the trees into producing apple) and pouring some cider on the orchard floor to encouraging the trees to make a good quality crop. So if your trees are not producing well you could try wassailing, I would warn your neighbors first as to avoid any misunderstandings or you could try fertilizing in the spring. B

Our markets are now closed for the season. We would like to thank everyone who came by and supported local, that made this our best year ever for our farm markets. If you still want local apples and cider then you have to go no further than Sobeys, Foodland, Co-ops and some Clover Farms and Red and Whites as they carry our apples and cider. Our Farm Markets in Miscouche and Charlottetown are still open but we will be closing for the season 5pm Saturday December 12th. Until then lots of Island Apples, Vegetables, cranberries, Jams , Pickles and cider but only till the 12th of December

Did you know our apples are available Island wide at Sobeys, Foodland and Co-op Stores. Pictured here is a display in our Summerside Sobeys but you will see this in most Sobeys, Foodland and Co-ops and thanks guys for supporting Local
