FINAL RESULTS ON L5P DYNO SESSIONS L5P DYNO RESULTS from BONE STOCK to WEIGHT LOSS to MODDED BD DIESEL VGT DROP IN TURBO. Overall some good data on the tunes, just the weight loss alone free’d up a bunch of horsepower just letting the engine breathe. BONE STOCK BASE RUN - 418hp and 845 tq ... MAX EFFORT BONE STOCK 587hp and 1257 tq WEIGHT LOSS BASE RUN 452hp and 973tq MAX EFFORT WEIGHT LOSS 619hp and 1289 tq. Just the weight loss alone letting the engine breathe we had some good horsepower gains right out of the gate and seems to make more power without any tune changes. BD DIESEL MODDED VGT BASE RUN 535hp and 1035 tq MAX EFFORT MODDED VGT 679hp 1312 tq. Adding the modded BD DIESEL VGT again woke the truck up approximately 50hp gain on each tune with no changes. We could have pushed for more and maybe cracked 700hp while still keeping the drive and EGT mostly in check but we we were dropping rail at 679hp and the info BD wanted was what this turbo can be pushed to with STOCK fuelingand we were there.
