Assalamwalaikum, with the help of LaunchGood, we have developed a campaign to help us keep going with ongoing operational costs, monthly rent and loan payoffs. The continuous pandemic and the government mandated lockdowns have shuttered small businesses, jobs, and also impacted Islamic Centres. Please help us with whatever you can give so we can get through this ordeal and Insha'Allah come out of it quickly in 2021. Jazakallahu Khairan and May Allah swt accept each and every... one of you. Ameen. Lets @LaunchGood via Help Ar-Rashaad Get Through COVID-19! https://www.launchgood.com//help_arrashaad_get_through_cov

Don't forget Saa'at al Istijaabah (a time when du'aas are answered) today on Friday. All you have to do is make dua before sunset! Note: It's NOT 'Salat' (prayer), it's Saa'at (time) of istijabah (response).... Sayyiduna Jabir (radhiallahu anhu) relates that the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: Friday is comprised of twelve periods. (There is one in which) no Muslim asks Allah Azza wa Jalla for anything except that Allah Azza wa Jalla will grant it to him. Seek it in the last hour after `Asr. [Sunan Abi Dawud (1048), Sunan al-Nasa’i (1389) and Mustadrak al-Hakim(1032)] Make the most of this blessed time and make du'aas for yourself, your family, the sender of this message and the whole Ummah. Please forward to others. *Sending Blessings on the Messenger of Allah on Jumu'a* Among the most beloved of acts to Allah Ta'ala is sending blessings and peace on the Messenger of Allah . It is a means of forgiveness of sins, raising one's status, abundant reward, closeness to Allah's Messenger in this life and the Hereafter, and his intercession on the Day of Judgment, among many other benefits. There is more virtue for this blessed act on the day and night of Jumu'a (Friday). Rasulullah said: *"Among the best of your days is Friday. Send blessings on me abundantly therein, for your blessings are presented to me"* *(Sunan Abi Dawud)* He also said: *"Send blessings on me abundantly on the day and night of Jumu'a. Whoever sends blessings on me once, Allah sends ten mercies on him" (Bahyaqi).* Note: the night of Jumu'a is the night preceding Jumu'a, I.e., after Maghrib on Thursday. When a person truly realises his blessings will be presented to the Prophet , he will feel shy to send only a small number of blessings to him, owing to his great right over us. The shortest invocation of blessings and peace we can send is: We waste so much time in futile conversations, but imagine how much reward we could earn if we spent this time in sending blessings upon the beloved of Allah, Rasulullah instead! May Allah Ta'ala grant us the ability to send abundant blessings on the Prophet and bless us with all the rewards He has promised for this great act of worship. Aameen. *SURAH AL-KAHF REMINDER* Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: "Whoever recites Surah al-Kahf on Friday will have a light that shines for him from one Friday to the next." (Mustadrak Hakim)

Through the piety of a person, Allah rectifies his children, his grandchildren, the people living in his home as well as the people living in the neighbouring homes. They all remain under the protection of Allah, as long as this person remains among them. (Imams Nasai and Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah (rahimahumallah) have recorded this narration as the statement of Muham...mad ibnul Munkadir (rahimahullah), a Tabi’i. (As Sunanul Kubra: 11866, Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah: 36564 Courtesy of Hadithanswers.com) Under the verse of Surah Kahf: And their father was pious (Ayah: 82) the commentators mention that Allah Ta’ala had protected the wealth of the 2 orphans due to the piety of their father. Some of the scholars have stated that it was actually their forefather from 7 generations before who was the pious one. (Tafsirul Baghawi, Tafsir Ruhul Ma’ani, Tafsir Abus Sa’ud, Tafsir Sawi and others, Surah Kahf, verse: 82) After quoting this last view from Sayyiduna Ja’far As-Sawdiq (rahimahullah) Al-Mufassir Alusy (rahimahullah) writes: Whatever the case may be, this still proves that the piety of the parents does result in protection for their progenies. Imams Ibn Abi Shaybah, Ahmad (in his kitabuz zuhd) and Ibn Abi Hatim (rahimahumullah) have reported from Khaythamah that he quoted Nabi ‘Isa (‘alayhis salam) to have said: How very excellent is the matter of the progeny of a (true) believer, how well they are protected after him (i.e, after his demise) The narrator: Khaythamah then recited the above verse of Surah Kahf. (Tafsir Ruhul Ma’ani, Surah Kahf, verse: 82) Imam Baghawi (rahimahullah) writes: It is said they were 7 generations below their pious forefather. Muhammad ibnul Munkadir says: Indeed because of the piety of a man, Allah protects his children and grandchildren (Tafsir Baghawi, Surah Kahf, verse: 82) Hafiz Ibn Kathir (rahimahullah) while commentating on the above verse writes: This proves that the progeny of a pious man is divinely protected. There is more support for the above principle in other verses of the Quran and the tafsir thereof. (see Surah: 40 Ayah: 8 and Surah: 52, Ayah: 21 and their respective commentaries) It is possible somebody made the above statement with this in mind that when one spends time serving Allah’s din (Islam) one acquires the attributes of piety and therefore his progeny will benefit too. It should be noted that this virtue is not only for those mentioned in your query. It applies to all the pious. And Allah Ta’ala Knows best, Sh Muhammad Haroon AbbasOmar

Assalamualaikum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakaatuh, I'd like remind everyone to keep Br Zakariyya Kalair and his family in there prayers today as today is the day of jummah. May Allah forgive him, have mercy upon him and elevate Him to the rank of a martyr and make Him from His closest servants. Ameen. He was a young man of 18 years and battled cancer for a few years. He was very patient and would regularly remind his family to do the same. He was quiet and had a cheerful, be...autiful countenance. He was very much loved by his family and friends and was a true role model. He had true love for the Quran and never missed his prayers even till the end of his life. The heart aches at the loss of such a valuable asset who brought joy to all around him. We pray that Allah grant the perfect patience to all and especially his family that He has left behind that will be needed to manage this massive loss. Ameen.
