After two super invigorating, fun and enrichng Mask and Audition workshops last weekend, we are revving up again for two more Atelier workshops this Sunday: Tackling Text with Micheline Chevrier & The Character's Voice with Martha Ross... These workshops are sponsored by Variations Mile End Dance which will be starting monthly $5 drop in classes for adults starting in November! It's such a lovely, body-positive space and this price is unbeatable! Do go check them out!

Do you need an extra spark of inspiration? Do you want to connect with other theatre artists in Montreal? Do you want to try something new and exciting to expand your craft? ... ATELIER BEGINS THIS WEEK! Imago Theatre is hosting Atelier, a series of 5 theatre workshops to help established and emerging artists expand their crafts. We will start up this Saturday (Oct 15) with: UNMASKING | Exploring Body Awareness and Play through Mask Taught by Anana Rydvald (2 X 2016 METAward Nominee for Love, Child) That will be followed on Sunday (Oct 16) with: MEETING THE DIRECTOR | Demystifying the Audition Process Taught by Micheline Chevrier (Multiple Award Winning Director and Goddess of Everything) Workshops are $75 (with a $50 charitable receipt) and all funds raised will go to ARTISTA, Imago Theatre's FREE youth mentorship program for young women, so you can feel really good about getting better at what you do because your money is going to an excellent cause :)
