Our very talented artist Dayna Law completed her commission "Squall Line", 36"x48", going to a collector living in the Belleville area. Commissions can be quite challenging as the outcome is never guaranteed, however, this collector was very happy with the final piece of work. For more of Dayna's intriguing pieces, visit www.artsonmaingallery.ca

Congratulations to Florence Chick-Lau who sold one of her wonderfully expressive ceramic sculptures to a collector in Ottawa who took a special liking to her "2 Puppies". For more of the artist's work, check out www.artsonmaingallery.ca

Visitors to The Waring House on Thanksgiving weekend enjoyed a wonderful meal and were also treated to a taste of the arts. Arts on Main Gallery, a cooperative ...of local artists hosted an art show at the local restaurant and inn with 20 percent of the proceeds supporting the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation’s campaign to raise funds to build a new hospital in Prince Edward County. The show ran on Saturday and Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend. Twelve artists showcased over 100 pieces of art, which included paintings, sculptures, jewelry and cards. Over 100 people went through and $1,200 was raised to help Back the Build. Arts on Main was forced to close our gallery on Picton Main Street due to COVID-19. It was a big decision for us to have a COVID-safe show. We are grateful to Chris and Norah Rogers of the Waring House for their generosity in giving Arts on Main Gallery a safe, physical presence to sell artwork over the Thanksgiving weekend, said Iris Casey, chairperson of Arts on Main Gallery. The PECMH Foundation wishes to sincerely thank the contributing artists, staff at the Waring House and everyone who attended the show and purchased art for helping to build a healthy future for residents and visitors to Prince Edward County.
