Hello all, We hope you are doing well. It looks like the earliest we will open will be June 18th, but it could be longer depending on the situation in Alberta. When we finally have a date, we will contact all who missed their appointments during the shutdown for first choices. Thank you for all of your support. COVID-19 UPDATE MAY 14th Hello all. It looks like the Alberta government has us in the Stage 2 reopening. This means we likely won’t open until sometime in June. Among the health professions, registered Acupuncturists are at the TOP of the list regarding infection control. We should have been able to open with physiotherapists, chiropractors, etc. Sorry to rant...... Thank you for all of your support over the years and thank you for your patience now. You can be assured that when we finally reopen, your well-being will be protected. This includes protecting ourselves so as not to become a source of any infection. We had an Occupational Health & Safety COVID-19 Compliance inspection today and I’m happy to report we PASSED with flying colours! Thank’s to our very own Shelley Fallis for doing such a great job of keeping perfect records and managing the clinic. NOW ACCEPTING BOOKINGS *Please read the following important information: DEAR ALL, We are thrilled to reopen our clinic and serve our vital role as healthcare professionals. Please have patience with us as we navigate through provincial health orders, regulations, and restrictions. There are some important changes we want you to be aware of before you book with us. The key changes are listed below:... OPENING DATE We are reopening on Monday, June 15th. CLINIC HOURS Monday - 9:00am to 5:15pm Tuesday to Thursday - 9:00am to 6:00pm RECEPTION HOURS Monday to Thursday - 9:00am to 4:00pm BOOKINGS - Phone (403) 314-4275 We have completed our URGENT BOOKING plan. We are now giving PRIORITY to patients who had their appointments cancelled during the shutdown, but anyone is welcome to book. BOOKINGS - Online Online bookings are temporarily unavailable. We are expecting to relaunch this feature as we become more comfortable with our new schedule. PREBOOKED APPOINTMENTS AFTER JUNE 15TH If you had booked an appointment prior to our shutdown past June 15th, please call us to confirm. In changing our schedule, some existing appointments were modified or removed. Our apologies for this. COVID-19 SCREENINGS As required by ALL health professions, we are conducting COVID-19 screenings at times of booking, as well as when anyone enters our clinic. Our staff and practitioners are also screened and are required to have body temperature checks several times per day to rule out fever. INCREASED INFECTION CONTROL We have increased sanitation and disinfection procedures as ordered by Alberta Health and our regulatory college. These procedures are time intensive and cannot be compromised for the safety of all. Please forgive us if we are running late for your appointment. TREATMENTS You may notice some alterations to your treatment experience as we move forward, but be assured, we will not compromise quality of care. You are our priority and we will work hard for you. As we implement our schedule with new procedures including physical distancing, we would appreciate everyone to arrive five minutes before your appointment. We may not be able to accommodate late arrivals as we have a tight schedule. ZERO BALANCING (ZB) We are currently not offering full-service Zero Balancing Treatments. However, we will still offer some ZB as an adjunct to our acupuncture treatments as needed. THANK YOU Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support. We have been forced to make many decisions before reopening our doors. We are advised to expect a different normal from now and beyond. One of the challenges of reopening after such a long shutdown, is how to manage bookings. Our plan is to prioritize those people who are in urgent need of treatment, followed by rebooking those whose appointments were cancelled during the shutdown. After we are sure to accommodate those individuals, we will open up normal bookings. PLEASE EMAIL US AT [email protected] IF YOU REQUIRE AN URGENT BOOKING. In the Subject Line, please add URGENT and in the email provide your NAME and PHONE NUMBER, and that you require an urgent appointment. You may also call 403-314-4275 but email is preferable due to the anticipated volume of calls and we are not in the clinic full time yet. We will begin calling people on Friday, Saturday, and Monday. This means we are finally allowed to open. Our plan is to open next week but we are not booking patients at this time. We have a procedure to employ for that purpose. Please await further details before calling us to book. We will have a process of booking urgent cases first, followed by missed appointments due to the shutdown, and finally, we will resume normal bookings.
