Just like most of us, I'm away from my family, it's me and my hubby this Christmas... which is OK (he is a better cook anyway). ... Projecting resilience and hope is a very inspiring message by @pantone with the #pantone2021 #colouroftheyear. However, I thought we already over this colour combination after it's been out for almost a decade. Will you embrace it as a trend next year? I have to admit, these colours look lovely together... it's just we've seen so much of them!

I've done it. You probably have done it too. Buying something cheap thinking "it will do", or "it's pretty anyway", or "I can't afford a more expensive one... right now". . What happened next? We had to replace it because it did not work, looked really cheap, broke fast, was the wrong size, colour, texture... the list goes on. ... I learned too many lessons and cried too many tears by now, and so I'm aware of the fact that my wallet/credit card/bank account is actually happier when I respect myself and my purchases. And often even rewards me with an unexpected income! . in my home staging business, it proved to be true as well. When I see properties staged in such a way that they look downright cheap, the result is often far from what staging can do for the sellers. It hurts more than it helps. . I think it's important to understand that in most cases, staging, as well as renovation, is an investment rather than an expense. From the latest RESA report, an investment of 1% of the list price brings an ROI between 5% and 15% to 75% of the sellers. . And so they only cried once and then laughed all the way to the bank! . The entryway of the house is where the first impressions are truly made. Just in a few seconds, home buyers will have a subconscious opinion about the property.
