Our first December Toddler Time Thursday post! Our theme this week is Christmas Trees! We’ve seen a lot of homes with decorated Christmas trees inside and outside! Looking for something to keep the kids busy for a while? Check out one of our themed backpacks! Each backpack is filled with books - fiction and non fiction - activity sheets and craft kits/ideas for a range of reading levels. Come in and have a look at our newest packs - Dragons and Dinosaurs, Weather, Space, and a Princess themed backpack! We also have two outdoor themed backpacks from Healthy Kids - "Who Eats Who" and Worms. A great way to get the kids outside and active! As with all library materials, the backpacks are quarantined for 3-4 days when returned before they are ready to be checked out again.

There are still perennials available at the back of the library. Place any money in the book drop. It's library week, you still have time to get your name into our various free contests. Come check out the library today from 10-12

It's Ontario Public Library Week. Come into the library this week and enter your name is our free draws. We have 2 basket draws and some candy and book guessing draws. We are also collecting food for the Athens Food Bank. If you have fines, you can clear them by bringing in something for the Food bank as well. 1 item =$5 cleared. Come check out your local library.
