May 29, 2021 - Supplement King Open & Natural Newfoundland & Labrador ...Championships - Delta St. John’s, St. John’s NL July 10, 2021 - Atlantic Classic Championships and Gladiator Showdown - Capitol Theatre, Moncton NB November 6, 2021 - Flex Lewis Canadian Classic Championships - Casino NB - Moncton NB The NB Natural Championships are currently in discussion between the president and promoters. Once we nail down a date, city and venue we will post more details very soon. There is a possibility we will be holding this event in another city in NB. Huge Announcement (s): J&H Promotions are now accepting proposals/applications/portfolios for a New Official Stage Photographer / Backstage Photographer for va...rious events in 2021. As well, we are looking for a Videographer as well and more details will follow on this job opportunity in the near future. The successful candidate (s) could possibly be appointed - on an event by event basis. We hold 3 events per year in NB and we are searching for someone organized, creative, who’s a strong leader, requires no supervision or surveillance, adheres to all the CPA Photo Guidelines and becoming a strong team player is a huge asset for us. We prefer someone who has experience shooting stage and backstage images, this would be essential. We will communicate our terms of this agreement and what else would be expected from you if you are chosen. This could be a very lucrative opportunity and the promoters want to work with you collectively to ensure fairness and transparency. We are looking for professionals who can shoot long hours , who are willing to adapt and can go above and beyond their call of duty. Our stages capture some of the best images you’ve ever seen and we take pride in having the best photographer to capture our athletes best and most memorable moments. Good Evening everyone ... In light of the recent show disturbances it’s prompted our attention in planning our 2021 show events with as much breathing room as p...ossible given the current situation/global pandemic. Atlantic’s and Gladiator is slated for April 3rd at the Capitol but we are looking at pushing it to July 10th at the Capitol. It’s a tough call and both dates are booked but leaning more towards pushing it to a later date. The NL Natural and Open Championships date is also under review and we would appreciate the feedback from athletes from the Rock. NO date has been set yet for the NB Natural Show. The Flex Lewis Canadian Classic will take place in October or Early November. This will depend on Flex and what date works best for him. We will not be able to nail down a final date for another 4-6 weeks. I feel it would be premature of us to plan any dates a year or more ahead. Lots of things can happen. Our #1 concern and priority is for our athletes. It’s not about the money, bragging rights or trying to conveniently book a date to appease us. No, we want to hear from you and what you’d like to see happen in terms of show dates and when they’re taking place. It’s all about the athletes not the promoters. We nearly cancelled our event last Friday however we recognized what it meant to 90 of you to still be able to compete. That was huge and we did what we could do make it happen. As most of you well know, our shows are nothing like the event you saw on Friday night. They are prestige, organized, amazing venues and lighting, huge awards, an audience, gift bags, posing routines and definitely a non-rushed show with an abundance of stage time to show off your hard work. It’s disheartening to cheat you out of an all-star contest experience due to this global pandemic. It has destroyed many businesses, many friendships and the entertainment industry has suffered dearly. Our tech Jamie Comeau can attest to this. So, to wrap up this post I’d like to say you matter and we never want to see anyone go through the disappointment of not getting the full contest experience or cancelling any of our events. Announcement #2 (pls read Announcement #1 first): Good afternoon, FLCC 2020, GLADIATOR & ATLANTICS 2021:... It is with much regret and sadness but also with optimism that we make the following announcements regarding the November 7th Flex Lewis Canadian Classic and Gladiator Showdown. Unfortunately, our venue, the Casino New Brunswick have cancelled all events for 2020. We promise, we did our very best to find a replacement venue, however, there are no venues or hotels currently available to hold an event of this magnitude. Also, given the current situation and with borders still closed between Canada and the US, we felt it was prudent to postpone the Flex Lewis Canadian Classic until November 6th, 2021 to ensure co-Promoter Flex Lewis can be in attendance. Regarding the Gladiator Showdown, we’ve decided to move this event back to the Atlantic Classic Championships on April 3rd 2021 at the Capitol Theatre. We will be sending all new invites to our current roster listing/attendees and will be providing more details to each of them individually by e-mail. Please message us directly regarding all your inquiries. As stated 100x, our first priority is the health and safety of our athletes and everyone else involved in making this event possible. As you well know, it is not a decision we took lightly, but we are confident it is the right one and it was indeed the responsible thing to do as Promoters. We are saddened and heartbroken in postponing this event. We were looking forward to seeing everyone this fall, but we feel it’s best to give enough notice to our athletes so that you all can make the required adjustments in your current or next contest preparation. Having said that, for those who still want to compete, we have some great news for you. Since the announcement of the Atlantic Bubble, we’re pleased to invite you all to the upcoming New Brunswick Open & Natural CPA Championships on October 10th, 2020 to be held at the Delta Beausejour in Moncton, NB. So, if you are gearing up for a show this fall, this is the show you are eligible to compete in or you may decide to wait until 2021. Either way, we look forward to seeing you all in the Fall or the Spring whatever contest you choose. On a side note, for any Atlantic Classic 2020 registrations paid, you may transfer any past registration fees to either event; The New Brunswick Open & Natural CPA Championships October 10th, 2020 or the Atlantic Classic Championships & Gladiator Showdown - April 3rd, 2021. Huge Announcement: Atlantics and Gladiator Showdown is still happening! Please Share this post! We have finally locked down a venue ready to hold the comp...etition. We are now 10 weeks out! May 30th is the new date! Now - we know it’s been a tough week but we want all the athletes to stay on track with their nutrition, listen to your coaches, and do your best with your workouts. You don’t need a fancy gym to look amazing for the show. Do tons of push ups, do body squats until your legs are jello, do lunges for infinity reps, crunches until your abs are on fire, do whatever it takes to succeed! Be creative and have fun with your workouts! Everything will return to normal soon and we all just have to be patient and positive and make the best of the situation. Atlantics & Gladiator is definitely still happening and I want you all to work your hardest and bring your best to the stage. Let’s show the World that people from the Maritimes are tough and we will never give up. We got this! WE ARE ATLANTIC CANADA STRONG! Heather & Jean
